Cafeteria Craze

"So Melody." Magnolia started. "Tell us more about yer self." She said as they walked towards the cafeteria.

"Well... I come from Abyssinia, I live with my father, and I love astronomy!"

"That's pretty cool I guess." Panacea said. "I've always wondered what space was like."

"Well, I've never actually been to space before." Melody commented. "But I want to study things like comets, stars and other parts of our galaxy. Just imagine! Who knows what's beyond our world. A black hole, rare stars, even finding other planets with organic life! The possibilities are endless-"

"While that's all very interesting-" Flurry interrupted. "All this space talk is slowing us down and I don't want to get stuck at the back of the line thank you very much."

"Oh, y-yeah. I wouldn't wanna slow you guys down." Melody said rubbing her arm anxiously.

At last, they all made it to the lunch room. Rows and rows of tables and chairs filled the room, creatures walking/flying around to take their seats, at the side of the room sat a row full of food being served by the staff. The smells were mouth-watering.

"Finally, let's get something to eat." Flurry exclaimed fluttering towards the lunch line. "I'm starved."

"No your not." Luster said. "If you starved you would be dead."

"She's right." Panacea said quietly behind her.

Flurry rolled her eyes. "Whatever."

"I'll go find a seat for us ok?" Panacea said to Luster.

"Sure! But you better hurry, by the time were done there won't be anywhere else to eat!"

"I'll try." She floated away and looked for some empty seats, she found a table- or at least she thought she did, turned out the creatures sitting there were a group of breezies, she could barely see them.

"Oh! S-sorry." Then she floated away.

Then she found another table, half of it was inhabited by griffins but she decided to ask anyway.

"Excuse me, I was wondering if me and my friends could sit-"

"SQWAK SQUAK SQUAAAAAAA!" The griffins cried, puffing up their chests and flapping their wings. They clearly did not want to share.

"NEVER MIND SORRY TO BOTHER YOU." She said quickly floating away nervously.

She went from table to table until eventually she found a clear space! Only one pony was sitting there. A unicorn with a white coat and red braided mane, her cutie mark were two licorice sticks. She sat there eating a sandwich, she looked busy so Panacea decided it was best not to bother her. She sat down.

"Um- WHAT, do you think your doing?" A voice called out.

She looked up. The unicorn was glaring strait at her, she did not look happy.

"Um.. sitting down?" She replied a bit confused.

"Well, DUH your sitting down, at MY table!" She said, her voice getting louder.

"But.. no one else is here." Pan replied, getting a bit nervous.

The unicorn scoffed. "Um, HELLO? Are you BLIND? I'm clearly saving seats for my friends when you just decided to BARGE in and take a spot for yourself! Don't you have any respect?"

Panacea began to sweat of guilt. She didn't know someone was going to sit there, there wasn't any indication once o ever that the seats were saved at all!
