Epilogue - part 30

Y/n lived her life. Mostly because she had to. She never for a moment forgot Yoongi and her always watched over her. Once her life was complete and she had breathed her last, she ascended to heaven.

Y/n pov:
I found myself in a cloudy white area. There was a stairway and I started going up and up. When I reached the top, there was a simple black gate. Near the gate was unmistakably the one person who after all this time still made me catch butterflies. It had been so long. His gummy smile was still intact though. I almost cried.
"Yoongi! Baby, is that really you?" I screamed jumping into his arms.

My baby. Finally. At last with me.

He smiled. "Y/n....my angel you finally came. I waited so long for you love. I watched over you everyday..." he went on. His eyes were so big and glistening with joy and tears upon seeing me. I just rested myself against his chest and he held me and kissed the top of my head gently patting it.

"I love you Yoongles" I started sobbing into his chest. He looked the same. I guess we don't age in heaven. But he was here. Finally, we held each other after a fucking eternity.

"You don't even know what hell Earth is without you. I missed ever since you left me...a bit more each day. Sometimes I really, really wanted to just die. To be here sooner. But I knew you would kill me if I did so" I let out.

I looked in his face for an answer. I saw remorse.
"I'm sorry baby. I am here now though" he replied.

"Yeah, and now you can't ever leave me. You mine. Forever" I smiled and booped his nose. I missed doing that. We both chuckled. He opened the gate and another person in all white approached me.

"Welcome, Y/n. We are glad to have you here. You have earned your place here in heaven. You have one of the purest hearts and I am glad to give you these wings".

The person handed me wings. My jaw almost dropped. What. Heaven was so cool.

"T-thank you" was all I managed to utter and that person flew away.

Yoongi chuckled. "You're a special angel. Only a few special people get wings. I told you that you were an angel from the start".

I smiled and he helped me wear my wings. We held hands and just walked. It was a nice sight. Many people laughing- I assumed family and loved ones who were reunited. It truly was a paradise. Although, for me, anywhere with the man I held hands with was a paradise.

Suddenly, I felt myself spinning. Yoongi had twirled me and then bent me down to kiss me. It was electrical. The sparks between us were still there after all this time- they did not fade, rather the time apart made them sizzle more. I felt like I was flying- and I checked I was not.

"When did you get so romantic?!" I exclaimed after passionately making out for a good five minutes.

All he did was smirk and say "I have a lot to show you. But first, I just wanna hold you for a billion years".

And we did just that. I felt his warm arms around me and I melted into his embrace. And this- this was heaven for me.
