I was lounging on the couch in the living room when I saw Mason rush past me. He was muttering about where he placed something. I was about to offer my assistance, but he found whatever he was looking for and jogged away. I laid back down and focused my attention on the Goblet of Fire. My attention was, once again, redirected from the movie when Pierce entered the room while cocking a handgun. I quickly jumped up and looked at him with wide eyes. He peered at me and rolled his eyes.

"Wh-why do you have a gun?" My finger trembled as I pointed it at him.

"Why do you think I have a gun? To shoot someone obviously." Pierce answered like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Me?" I whispered out.

"Please, Hope. Not everything is about you." He placed the gun in its holster.

"Everyone ready?!" Alec called out. Nicola and Blue were dressed lavishly when they entered the room. Jason and Mason were dressed in black tactical armor. Pierce and Alec were dressed in all black. They all answered that they were ready. Everyone was ready, but me. Where the hell were they going?

"Where are you guys going and why does Jason have an assault rifle?"

"To do a mission and we don't have time for a q and a sesh. Nic and Blue... get going. Pierce do the perimeter check. Jason and Mason get in position and await my signal." They nodded and left. "I'll make this quick, Hope. We've got a job to do and I don't have time to explain it in grave detail because we're up against the clock." Alec answered.

"What you're doing is illegal."

"Like you've always been on the straight and narrow."

"You guys have guns. You're going to kill people."

"And you've never? Hope, this is what we do. You're on our turf now. You can stay here and remain ignorant or you can be enlightened by asking questions?" Alec's eyes narrowed.

"I don't support this and I can't allow you to walk out-"

"Even if you spell me or knock me unconscious, my team is in place and will commence the operation after a certain amount of time has passed. And... you don't know where they are. How about this... I'll allow you to accompany me. But, you have to stay out of my way. And we won't shoot to kill. How about that?" Alec glanced at his watch.

"Fine." I reluctantly agreed.

"Okay. We need to get you looking the part. Go to your closet and pick out an all black outfit." I nodded and left to change.

Alec, Pierce, and I were on a building adjacent to our target edifice. Pierce and Alec were finalizing the plan. I'm guessing that inside the building was something that Alec wanted. There's an extravagant party going on at the moment. Nic and Blue were to attend said party and mingle with the guests. By doing that, they would infiltrate that event and be our eyes and ears. Jason and Mason were to take out the security team. Pierce would be sniping out anyone who he deemed to be a threat to us. And I said us because Alec wants me to accompany him inside. I tried to decline, but Pierce refused to allow me to stay with him. Anyways, once inside, Alec and I will locate the item. What the item is? I have absolutely no idea because they won't tell me. It must be something pretty bad if they are refusing to tell someone, who will be involved in the heist, what they are actually stealing.

"Ready?" Alec asked me.

"How are we supposed to get inside? Are we just gonna walk in the front door?"

"Nope. Mason, we good?" Alec touched his earpiece.

"Yep. Everything's ready." Mason's static's voice answered. Alec gave Pierce a nod. Pierce positioned his rifle and fired it down at a window. The way he fired the shot, none of the glass fell outside. Alec then fired a hook out of a gun. It impaled into the concrete wall outside of the building. Alec pulled it taut and then handed a metal rod to me.
