Here I was. Minding my own business when the front door was opened. Before I heard Pierce's voice, I could smell blood. I got up off the couch and ran to the entrance to see Pierce hoisting Jason up.

"TAIGA!" Pierce roared. Taiga appeared seconds later. He asked Pierce to help him carry Jason to the med bay. I followed because what the hell happened?! Taiga tried to put an oxygen mask on Jason, but he refused since he needed to tell us what happened. We tried to reason with him, but he said that Mason was in trouble.

"What happened, Jason? Taiga treat his wounds without anesthesia. He'll tell us if he needs it." Alec entered the room.

"You guys aren't gonna believe this." Jason started.

Flashback

Jason's POV

Mason and I had tracked the beast to Beacon Hills. Apparently, a student is the beast. The dread doctors must've created a chimera that was able to be possessed by the beast. Whatevs! Our job is to kill him anyways. No biggie! Mason and I were observing the parking lot and saw this pack of werewolves. Well, there were three werewolves, a werecoyote, a banshee, a human, and who I'm guessing to be the beast. Through stalking them, we've come to know them as Liam, Malia, Lydia, Stiles, Mason number 2, and Scott- the alpha. It seems like the Mason kid is the beast since his eyes glowed crystal blue. Mason number 1 tapped me and I nodded at him. I turned back to the group and activated my werewolf side. I felt my bones crack and my fingers started to elongate as well as my nails. I howled as I allowed myself to turn into a lycan. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed my best friend had completed his transformation as well.

"Ready?" He spoke to me telepathically.

"Let's get em!" I mentally shouted back. We barreled towards Scott and his pack. They had noticed us and sported frightened looks. The beast turned into his form and challenged us. Scott and Liam changed into werewolves and tried to attack the beast and us. The beast used its massive arm to fling me to the side while it barreled into Mason. I head butted Liam, sending him flying backwards. Scott clawed at me to which I retaliated by biting him in the neck. Malia swung at me, so I kicked her down and roared into her face. I heard the sound of something breaking in two, so I turned and saw that Stiles was holding half of a bat. He dropped it and slowly backed up. I roared at him as he protectively pushed Lydia behind him. I stalked towards them, but Scott halted my path. He clawed me in the face and kicked me backwards. I crashed into a car and it got crushed under my weight. Malia was instantly on top of me and clawing at my face. I grasped her wrist with my teeth and harshly bit down. I heard her wrist crack under my pressure. I then flung her into another car. I was about to annihilate them, but I saw the beast fling Mason. I howled before charging it.

I pummeled into the beast and we engaged in a wrestling match. I was on top of him and bit him in the neck. He kicked me away and then picked up my head and repeatedly bashed it into the ground. It then threw me into the brick wall and attempted to escape. Mason communicated telepathically that he was gonna engage it, so I quickly shook my head to reorient myself before I followed them. We were on its heel in the woods; however, when we jumped over a cliff, a shot had gone off. I asked Mason if he knew what it was, but he didn't respond. I looked back and gasped when I saw him. He was lying on his back while clutching his shoulder. He slowly shifted back into his human form. I dashed towards him, but halted so that I could dodge the bullets and arrows. I then began to advance towards him, but had to hide behind trees to avoid being hit.

"GO!" Mason screamed. "GET OUT OF HERE! I'LL BE FINE! GET HELP!" He squirmed so he was on his stomach and looking at me. "I'll be fine. I promise." He grinned at me. I refused to comply and tried once more to get closer to him, but he used his alpha voice on me. "I SAID LEAVE!" He roared. My wolf cowered under his red eyes and I darted always from him. I kept running until I reached the mansion. The moment I was on safe ground, I changed back into my human form. I was so exhausted that I could barely stand. Luckily, Pierce was doing his usual nightly training, so he saw me. He immediately dashed over to me and helped me up. He wrapped his shirt around my waist and guided me inside where he yelled for help.
