Cough cough. I wiped the water off of my face. Pierce was laughing so that's when I put two and two together. He dumped the seawater onto my face.
"What. The. Hell?" I said through gritted teeth.
"I asked him to wake you up. Although, I let him pick how we would do it." Alec answered. He was still paddling. I wonder if he ever took a break. "We saw land and wanted to tell you that we're almost there."
"You're really gonna have us go to an unknown island after everything?"
"Relax. There are people there." Pierce dismissed my concerns.
"I believe we are nearing the island of Puerto Rico." Alec pointed to a Puerto Rican flag parasail. I sat up more and observed people swimming, on jet skis, and wakeboarding. Alec paddled until we were in waist deep water. He then dismounted the canoe and guided it to shore. Pierce hopped off and Alec assisted me off the boat. We followed Pierce into a bar where a band was playing and people were dancing. We plopped down at the bar and Alec signaled the bartender over.
"Dos cervezas y una agua." Alec requested. Did Alec really just ask for a water for me?
(Two beers and a water)
"En realidad, ella tendrá leche." Pierce spoke before the bartender left. I was curious what he said, but my curiosity was answered when the bartender brought back two beers and a glass of milk for me. Pierce smirked as he drank his beer.
"How'd you know the way to... San Juan?" I noticed a sign outside that said Old San Juan.
"I didn't. I just figured that we'd eventually hit land." Alec answered. "Before you ask what's next, Hope... I'll tell you. We're gonna finish our drinks and you two will order some food. Then, we'll find a hotel to clean ourselves up. You both will rest and tomorrow we will fly back to LA. So, enjoy your time here." Alec resumed drinking his beer. Pierce had stood up and began to dance with a lady. I didn't realize how much of a good dancer he was. One hand held the beer while the other one gripped the woman's waist. Who knew the Irish boy could salsa dance?

I sat down on the couch and watched the football game on the screen. I knew nothing about football and that extended down to the teams. Whichever team Jason and Mason were rooting for was losing based on their saddened states. Normally, I'd be in my room painting, but I was instructed to let my nails properly dry. I tried to decline going to the salon, but Xavina and Nicola wouldn't take no for an answer. Pierce walked by and greeted everyone, but me.
"Where you goin, witchy?" Nic asked.
"A mission." He then glanced at me. "An assassin mission. Where I'm gonna kill people. Shoot them with a gun and watch their life-"
"I get it!" I raised my voice at him. He seemed pleased by my reaction and left.

Third Person POV
Pierce had his target in his scope. Through the eyepiece, he watched the guy shake hands with the buyer. They talked for a bit before he was handed a briefcase. He opened it and peered at the documents inside. Pierce increased the eyesight so that he could actually see the documents. Military inscripted codes. Perfect. That was just what he was looking for.
"Package is secured." He radioed Alec.
"Go ahead and take the shot when ready." Alec replied back.
"Copy." He answered back. "Unfortunately for you, your life is about to abruptly end-" Buzz Buzz Buzz! Pierce was confused for a moment, but then realized that it was his phone. He was even more concerned as to who was calling him since everyone knew he was on a mission. He noticed that an unknown number was calling him. He put it back in his pocket, but then decided to answer it. "What?" He harshly answered.
