Caedance watched the last of her staff drive off then went back inside to grab her bag. The wedding had been a success, and as promised she got a touching photo of the couple cutting their cake. The bride was beyond grateful for the save, and it warmed Caedance's heart to know she helped make this a memorable day.

Taking off her heels, she sighed with relief to finally be out of them. She was always the last to leave after a wedding, and she usually took this time to decompress.

Her phone vibrated just as she changed into some leggings and a tank top. She checked and saw Adam had texted her. She'd messaged him earlier and he hadn't replied.

"I apologize for my lack of response. I am ready for my next order of instruction, My Lady."

Caedance chuckled then texted back. "Already? I thought you would want at least a day before more training."

"I am ready now. That is, if you are up for it." He sent a second text. "My lady."

She loved that he didn't use a typical title for her. Luke called her Mistress, as had previous subs. Adam surprised her more and more as she got to know him.

"Come to my place. I should be home soon. Assume the position on my porch."

"The position?"

"On your knees, hands on your thighs. When I arrive, hold your arms behind your back, ready for instruction." She thought some more. "If possible, wear comfortable pants and a t-shirt, commando of course. A jacket is fine if you're cold."

"It will be done. Anything I need to bring?"

"Just yourself. I have everything I need for our next lesson. See you soon."

She put her phone away and quickly slipped into her shoes then hung her dress in the closet. She would take it to the cleaners Monday. Since Adam was further away from her house than she was, she decided to stop for some wine. She'd run out at home, and she wanted something to set the mood.

As she walked to her car, she got a prickle up her spine and turned around. She ws sure everyone had left, but she got the eerie feeling someone was watching.

"Someone there?"

No answer. The creepy feeling intensified, so she grabbed her mini taser attached to her keys and checked under the car and her back seat before quickly getting in and locking the door.

"Stop being paranoid," she said to herself. "You leave alone all the time. This is no different."

Caedance shook off the paranoia and made her way to the liquor store. She picked a medium bodied red before heading to the house.

To her surprise, Adam beat her. He'd parked in the street in front, and she could see his silhouette kneeling on the porch. She grabbed her bag and the wine then locked the car as she approached the door. Adam slightly turned his head.

"Welcome home, my lady."

"It's good to be home. At ease, Mr. Drake."

He didn't move at first but then stood up. "Let me help you with that."

He took her bag, and she thanked him before unlocking the door. She let him in first before shutting it behind them.

"How was your day?" she asked.

"To be honest, not so great. I received some bad news about the company."

"Oh no. Do you want to talk about it?"

"Not really. I talk shop 24/7. I'd rather talk about more pleasant things."

"Done. Let me toss my bag in my room then we can have some wine. Sit wherever you like."
