Adam turned over on the bed so Tori was on top of him. The moment they'd reached his house, they were lip locked with clothes coming off. This was the first time he'd brought her here, and he was eager to get Caedance off his mind.

He met Tori a few days before at the Casino. She wore a red dress and matching lipstick drinking martinis at the bar with friends. He flirted with her a bit and the next thing he knew, they were going on dates every night. They never ended in sex because he couldn't bring himself to touch her. Until now.

"You're such a good kisser," she mumbled against his lips.

"Thank you."

He kissed her again, wishing she would do something--pull his hair, slap him. Anything more than just sucking his face. Adam slid his hand over her leg, and she moaned loudly. He stopped since it sounded like she was in pain. When she didn't speak up, he moved his hand to her hip then over her lower back, and she moaned again.

"Am I hurting you?" he asked.

"No, hot stuff. I'm just really sensitive. You could give me an orgasm just by touching my earlobe."

He didn't comment but kissed her again, though he found himself doubting her claim. It wasn't any fun if she could get off so easily. Caedance loved to draw it out, making him beg and savor every sensation.

Frustrated, he stopped kissing her. "Hit me."

"What? Like . . . slap you?"

"Sure. And don't hold back. Hit me as hard as you can."

She giggled then lightly smacked his cheek.

"Like that?"

"Harder."

"Ooh, you like it like that, big boy?"

She slapped him again, but it wasn't nearly as hard as Caedance's swing. She did this over and over, each slap more pathetic than the last. Finally, he grabbed her hand before she could hit him again, sitting up so she was in his lap.

"Let me make this clear. I want you to slap the shit out of me. Slap me like I'm a creep in hoodie trying to steal your purse."

The playful smile left her face. "Is that really what turns you on?"

"Does that bother you?"

"It's . . . different. But I can play along. What else do you want me to do?"

Adam fell back, covering his face with his hands. This was exactly why his other relationships failed. He wanted a woman who took charge and took cues form his body language. Someone who he didn't have to give direction.

Why had he been such an idiot? He ruined things with Caedance by being a jealous bastard. He should have just been patient and seen how things went after their three weeks was up. All he knew was he didn't want to sleep with Tori at all. And he knew he would hate himself if he did.

"This isn't going to work," he said after some time.

She scoffed. "Are you for real?"

"Yes. We're not compatible, and it's best we quit while we're ahead."

Tori got off of him, picking up her dress from the floor. "Fine! I don't want to pretend to like your creepy fetishes anyway!"

She finished getting dressed, and Adam sighed with relief and tugged his shirt back on.

"I'll take you home."

"Don't bother! I'll get an Uber."

She huffed as she walked out of the bedroom, and he heard her slam the front door shut. Thank God he'd dodged that bullet.
