SUMMER

I woke up when my alarm clock shouted.

Gosh! I didn't turned my alarm off! Its my day-off. Its Saturday! I should be sleeping right now!

Isaiah was nowhere to be found. He just left a note on my nightstand.

"See you tomorrow morning. Love you."

-- Isaiah your loves

I smiled and stood up. I let the blanket fall off of my body.

I walked towards the bathroom, naked and did my morning routine.

After taking a bath, I grabbed the note that my husband left and go to the kitchen.

I opened the stove and burned the piece of paper.

I had cereal and milk for breakfast. I them, ate an apple and grabbed my things before leaving my unit.

I rode my car and drove to our house.

Its weekend. Its family time.

I am in the good mood because I'll be spending time with my husband.

The mansion is quiet far away from my apartment so I drove for a couple of hours before i finally reached our mansion's gate.

I greeted the two guards guarding the gate and continued to drive.

If its your first time entering this property, you would definitely assume that this is a large farm.

There are three varieties of fruit bearing trees that are planted in here.

I passed numerous mango trees.

Then, jackfruit trees.

And lastly, makopa trees. Oh! Did I already mention that I love makopa? Makopa is life!

I parked my car somewhere I want and just walked towards the house.

My car cannot go pass the large trees planted horizontally around the mansion. Its like blocking the mansion from being seen from afar.

Is Isaiah already here? I asked myself and continued to walk.

I smiled when I saw the mansion by the time that I passed those large trees.

We both planned this. I chose the house's color. He chose the interior of the house.

I ran towards the house and almost hugged it because it's been a week since I last saw her.

I immediately unlocked the house and welcomed by the most beautiful creature in this world.

"Welcome home, Love." He smiled and hugged me.

This guy really.

"Finally! I can hug you like this!" I exclaimed the and tightened my hug.

He then claimed my lips and kissed me gently.

"What would you like for lunch? I'll cook." He said while we walk inside the house.

Owemgie! He's gonna cook! I haven't really tasted his dish for such a long time! Glad he offered me that!

"Buttered shrimp please." I requested and he nodded.

I suddenly craved for my favorite restaurant, Geaustous' buttered shrimp.
