(Y/N)'s POV

I stood myself up and followed Iwa out the door. I'm so excited to see what kind of food there is!

"So," Iwa said as we were walking through the hallways, "What kind of food do you like?"

Hm, I don't even know. "I'll eat anything, really. Anyone can put anything in front of me and I'll eat it." I answered with a wide smile. I was curious about him too, "What about you, Iwa? What do you like to eat?"

"Agedashi Tofu. It sucks though, because they don't sell it here." He replied.

"Oh, what's Agedashi Tofu?"

"It's basically just deep fried tofu. Nothing too extra." Iwa said as he shrugged his shoulders.

We arrived at the cafeteria. It was packed. Lots of people looked my way and started gossiping again, but I kind of got used to it by now. But apparently, Iwa didn't like it.

"You know what, let's just go to a vending machine." He said as he grabbed my wrist and dragged me out of the cafeteria. I looked around and people were whispering.

'Look, it's the exchange student!"

'And.. Iwa-chan's holding her hand..?'

'Woah, are they dating?!'

"Iwa.. people are saying stuff." I quietly told him.

"Just ignore them. I'm holding you by your wrist, not your hand. They're blind." Iwa responded.

-

We arrived at one of the vending machines that was just behind the school.

I looked around. Everything looked delicious. "Hm..." I looked up at Iwa, "Can you choose? Everything looks tasty to me and I can't seem to decide." I said with a light smile.

"Fine." Iwa looked at the snacks in the vending machine, with his fingers rubbing his chin. His eyes lit up. "Ah ha!" He cried.

"Ooh! Ooh! What'd you choose?" I asked excitedly.

Before he answered the question, he bought the snack and handed it over to me. I looked up at him, "What is it?"

"It's a Taiyaki." He replied.

"What's a Taiyaki?" I asked as I was rummaging through my pockets for some money. A hand was placed over mine.

Iwa chuckled and nodded his head, "No need to pay, (Y/N)." I calmed my hand. "A Taiyaki is just a fish-shaped pastry with red bean filling. It's really good." Iwa informed me.

"Oh, sounds delicious!" I looked down at the wrapped pastry, licking my lips.

Iwa went to buy his snack which was just a bag if potato chips. Then, we made our way back to my classroom, still ignoring all the gossip.

-

We entered class 2-B and sat down where we originally sat. I opened my Taiyaki snack and looked at Iwa.

"Why aren't you eating, Iwa?" I asked. He hadn't opened his bag of chips yet.

Iwa shrugged, "I'm waiting for you to try yours. If you don't like it we can trade."

I smiled at him and took out the fish pastry. It was so cute! I took my first bite. In the middle of chewing, my eyes widened. "Oh my god, It's amazing!" I said.

Iwa let out a laugh, "I knew you'd like it." He continued to open his bag of chips and started munching on them. He took one and placed it in front of me.
