I walk into school alone and eveyone goes silent. Everyone's eyes are glued on me. I start to walk over to Rose to ask her what's going on when Alya practically jumps on me.
"Girl! When were you gonna tell me that you were dating Chat Noir!?" She questions with her phone in my face.
"What?" I ask, confused. I take her phone from her hands to see what she's showing me.
Noooo. No no no no no no. This isn't happening. Someone saw us. And posted it online.
"Alya, it's not.." I start to explain but realise everyone is listening so I drag her into the library. "Alya, you're my BFF and if I was dating Chat Noir, you would be the first to know, okay. But it was just a stupid kiss. He means nothing to me. I was just upset and it was a mistake." I protest.
After a long silence Alya smiles and says, "I believe you girl, but the whole of Paris knows that you two kissed so you're gonna have to tell them that you aren't dating."
Ahh crap.
I go to say something else when I hear a voice.
"You kissed Chat Noir?" the voice asks.
"Who said that?" Alya questions.
Adrien walks out from behind a book shelf. I look him up and down. He's walking with a limp and his hand is all bandaged up, he has tears in his eyes.
"Oh my gosh, Adrien. What happened?" I interrogate, worridly.
"Promise that you won't tell," he begs.
"We promise," Alya and myself answer together.
"I just had a bit of a bad day yesterday and I was angry so I kinda punched my wall and broke my hand. And then I kicked my desk," he laughs, "It's stupid," he laughs again, "but I told my father that I fell down, so you can't tell anyone what really happened."
Alya and I look at eachother and giggle a little then imeediately slam our hands over our mouths.
"So, Marinette, back to the original question. You kissed Chat Noir? Was he any good?" He asks with a grin.
"Yes, I did kiss him but, he means nothing to me, like I hardly know him, I mean I was having a bad evening and he showed up and it just happened, but it was a mistake," I respond, defensively. I can't let Adrien think that I like Chat, if he thinks that then I may never have a chance with him.
The grin disappears from Adrien's face. He sighs and then nods, going to say something but he gets interrupted by the bell.
"Let's get to class," he says, walking away.
"What's up with him?" Alya scoffs.
"I heard Kagami dumped him yesterday," Nino states, appearing from no where.
Yes! Adrien is single again! I have a chance with him!
