Feelings

It had been three hours since Tikki went to see Chat Noir and I was starting to worry. Unfortunately there was no way that I could contact her so I had to trust that she'd come back to her own accord. I had put back on the fox miraculous and was talking to Trixx when I got a call from Nino. He was crying.

"Nino what's wrong?" I question.
"Did you not see the news!" He exclaims.
"No," I reply as I switch on the TV.

A picture of Adrien in a hospital bed flashes on the screen.

"Oh my-"
"His dad almost killed him!" Nino hisses.
"Should we go and visit him?" I ask.
"Yeah, sure. I'll be at yours in 5!"

I hang up the phone just as Tikki flies through the window.

"Were you with Adrien!? Is he okay?" I blurt out.
"Adrien? Why would I be with Adrien?" Tikki laughs nervously.
"Oh yeah. Ummmm, I kinda know that he's Chat Noir," I explain. "But that's beside the point! Is he okay?"
"Yes, yes Alya he'll be fine. Gabriel was arrested so he won't hurt Adrien anymore but he's still pretty upset." Tikki explains.
"Me and Nino are going to visit him, wanna come?" I ask.
"I just got back, I think it'd be best if I stay here."
"Okay Tikki, bye. Bye Trixx." I say as I run out the door.

I meet Nino and we begin to walk toward the hospital. He squeezes my hand as we walk into Adrien's room. He's asleep and is surrounded by beeping machines. The room is cold and empty.

"Poor boy," Nino whispers.
"Yeah. How about we go and get him some gifts for when he wakes up," I suggest.
Nino nods and we walk back out the hospital.

We reach the shop and go inside. We pick up a cuddly cat toy, some Ladybug and Chat Noir action dolls, a green and black stripy shirt, a book about superhero's, a fluffy blanket and, of course, some croissants. We go to the checkout counter and pay. We quickly make our way back to Adrien and sneak into the room. Annoyingly, he's woken up by the time we get back.

"Hey guys," he mutters weakly.
"Hey dude. We got you some presents," Nino whispers.
"Thanks, but why are you whispering," Adrien asks.
"I swear you have to whisper in hospitals." Nino replies.
"That's libraries you ididot!" I reply, pushing his shoulder.
We hand Adrien his gifts and his eyes light up. He wraps the blanket around him and sits the cat toy on his lap as he sinks his teeth into a croissant.
"Thanks guys," He smiles.
"So are you okay?" I ask.
"Yeah, I guess. But I don't really think that I'll be the best superhero for a while," he laughs but then grabs his stomach. "Don't let me laugh."
"Are you okay bro! Do you need a nurse? NURSE! It's okay we're here man. What do you need?" Nino panics.
"Dude, I'm fine," Adrien smiles. "But thanks for caring so much!"
We sit and talk for about an hour until the doctor asks us to leave. We say our goodbyes and walk back to my house.

"Nino, I have to tell you something and you have to promise not to tell!" I exclaim.
"What is it babe?" he asks.
"MARINETTE IS LADYBUG!" I blurt.
"Really?" he asks in disbelief.
"Yes really!" I say as Tikki flies up to greet him.
"Uhhh so I guess that means that you were ummm right earlier," Nino stammers.
"Yeah, yeah it does. See you should never doubt me," I tease.
He laughs and rolls his eyes as he sits down on my bed. I explain the whole 'me being ladybug for the weekend' situation and we talk about how lucky we are to know both Ladybug and Chat Noir in real life. We're interrupted by two creatures flying through the window, one purple one and one blue one.

"Thank goodness we found you Tikki!" They exclaim.
"Nooroo? Duusuu?"
