Minji's pov.
Yoongi and I watched the black van exit the main gates from the upstairs hall window. I sighed as I watched the large gates close after the vehicle, the feeling of even a little chance at freedom exiting my grasp. It was around half twelve, and the boys had to leave. I looked out of the window. We were nowhere near the city, that was obvious by the lack of noise and buildings in the vicinity of the boys mansion. I supposed that was only right, considering the fact that these boys disappeared off the face of the earth for years without a trace. I turned to Yoongi only to see him walking towards the stairs.
"Yoongi?" I asked without thinking, and he turned around. "Yeah?" He asked, facing me. "What happened? Why did you guys... part?" I asked, and he rolled his eyes. "Minji," He began. "If I have to stay here, I deserve to have some sort of clue," I stated. He brought his eyes up to mine, looking straight into my soul. "I can't," He said. "Not right now." "Then when? it's not like I'm gonna say anything to anyone, you know, since I'm kidnapped?" I retorted, and he just sighed. "Later," He finished, walking down the stairs without another word. I just shook my head to myself and made my way to Hoseok's bedroom.
After I fumbled with the locks for a good five minutes, I finally entered the room. When I opened the door, I was hit by the bright colors of his room, which was quite a contrast from the dull browns and reds that the rest of the house was garnished with. I closed the door behind me as I took in the Medic's room.
The walls were a shade of light blue, with light wooden floors and white accents. There was a four poster bed in the center of the room, which was adorned with yellow silk sheets and a matching colored canopy. There was a gold mirror on the opposite wall above a white desk, which had paperwork and different drawings and paintings upon it. Most of the pictures were of food. Fruit baskets, cakes, large dining tables topped with feasts. There was an easel in the corner of the room with a blank white canvas on it.
So, he's a painter. Huh.
I smiled at the sight of his room. I felt more comfortable then I had felt since I had arrived there, and knowing that I had one person who didn't want to kill me made my day drastically better. I yawned at the sight of the bed. The plush mattress seemed to almost call me, and I fell onto the soft mattress. I almost fell asleep right then, but I realized I was still dressed. I didn't have pjamas with me, and I didn't feel like going back downstairs for some, so I looked in one of Hobi's drawers. Inside there were shorts and joggers. I took out a pair of joggers and I then found a t-shirt in another drawer. I put them on, leaving my other clothes in a neat pile on the floor to pick up in the morning. I hastily got into the bed, pulling the silk yellow sheets up to my chin. It felt like my bed at home. My mind wandered. Would I ever get to be at home again? Would my father survive? What were the boys doing? What time was it? Were they there yet? Would they kill my father's men? Our men? I tried to push the thoughts away, but I couldn't. I began to cry softly as I wondered what would've been if I hadn't sneaked out the night I did. I could've been at home with my father then, sleeping in my own bed. I eventually fell asleep to the sound of my own sobbing, wondering what could've been.
Namjoon's pov.
"Let's go."
I exited the van, with Jimin, Taehyung and two of my men Jonghyeon and Yonho.
"Jungkook, are we ready?"
"Camera's are out, sir," I heard Jungkook's voice say through my earpiece.
"Perfect."
The back entrance was unguarded, as we assumed. Getting in was simple. We could simply walk through the front door. But I'm an observe and then act kinda guy. And this is exactly what we did.
The Casino was quiet, the only others inside being the Snipers, Seoks and the workers. The soft jazz music made the environment feel classy, each man sitting around the roulette wheel attired in steam pressed suits of black and grey. From what I could tell, there were the same amount of Snipers and Seoks, Four from each group. We were above both in numbers alone, but If the business was about some sort of alliance, we were short. Listening in on their conversation from afar was simple. Each man had a half empty glass of some alcoholic beverage in front of them, hinting at the fact that they were at least somewhat tipsy. From following the Seok's actions, I recognized two of the men seated at the table; the Underboss, Lee Jae-Hwa, and a soldier named Chan Hajoon. I didn't recognize anyone from Snipers, which was perfectly fine with me.
I'm better at killing people I don't know.
"I bought in for $500 chips, not $100," One of the men slurred from the table. I sighed, motioning for the boys to come and sit around a table in the corner, out of sight from the others. I wasn't stepping out until we got a bit of information about the business, and that took a while. One of the workers came around the corner, carrying an empty beer glass, and jumped at the sight of us. "Don't say a word to anyone, or your brains will be on the floor, okay darling?" I whispered to her, and she nodded, face as white as a sheet. She hurried along, bringing the glass to the back, and I smiled at myself. This was already fun.
"Line bet for nineteen to twenty-one," I heard one of the men say. For the next twenty minutes, it consisted of numbers, shouting and bets from each man at the wheel. My boys kept alert, as they should, but it also meant that we had to hear the yells of, "Street pays eleven to one, where's my money?!" and "No more bets!" for those twenty minutes. After a while, the men settled down and began talking business, and my ears pricked up.
"So, we heard about Seok's daughter," One of the Snipers said, placing his glass on the table as he began. "You guys sure she didn't just pull a runaway?" A fist slammed on the table. Lee Jae-Hwa. "She wouldn't. She couldn't. I know her far better than her father, and trust me, she wouldn't. If she was going on a runaway, she would've told my son," He said through gritted teeth.
His son? Interesting.
"Someone has her, and we'll find them. But that's not what you're here for," He continued.
"We want to know what you know about the return of Bangtan Sonyeondan."
