Minji's pov.

The gun seemed to be staring at me. I struggled, moving my mouth around a bit. The tape loosened and eventually fell off completely. I was about to speak when Namjoon bet me to it.

"Why would you kill her if you were to give information to the Seoks? They wouldn't like you much if you killed their Consigliere, would they?" Yeonjun scoffed, moving slightly closer to me. "It's easy to frame somebody you know." Yeonjun moved closer to me, the gun pointing directly at my temple.

"I will decorate the Christmas tree with your intestines if you even think about it, Choi," Namjoon growled. Yeonjun laughed. "Sounds delightful. At least I'll still be there in spirit... or in intestine, I guess," He jeered back. "I thought about it Kim. And nobody's here to stop me, so-"

"Not so fucking fast." I heard a familiar voice from the door. Our six heads turned to where the noise was coming from almost in unison. Taehyung was standing at the door, at least half a dozen men in tow, all pointing guns at the boys. The four others were quick to reach for their guns too, and the room quickly became a shooting match. Taehyung shot at Yeonjun, getting his arm, causing him to yelp in pain and stumble backwards. Tae came over to me and began to release me, holding his gun between his teeth as he slashed at the ropes with a switchblade. I couldn't help but admire him. His expression was determined and stern, but his macho man personality seemed to falter as his eyes met mine. He gave me a half-smile before a bullet barely missed his arm and he turned around to face the direction it came from, shooting there a few times before he helped me up. I was fully aware of everything, but the drugs still hadn't worn off on my body, causing my feet to suddenly become two left ones. Taehyung lifted me up into his arms, and as much as I hated relying on others for my safety, I allowed him. I mean after all, I probably would've been dead if it wasn't for him. He shot behind him again before turning and running to the door, up flights of stairs, away from the yelling and finally emerging into the dark, me still tightly in his arms. There was a car outside, and he quickly lifted me into the back before getting into the passenger seat. There were more gunshots. "Just drive," Taehyung said to the driver. "But the oth-" "The others are probably dead by now, so drive."

We drove in silence for almost the whole journey. I wanted to say thank you to Tae, but I couldn't figure out how. I mean, how were you supposed to thank your kidnapper for saving you from a kidnapping? After a while, I saw the mansion approach in the distance from the front window. I cleared my throat before beginning. "Thank you, Tae, for back there. I really-" "It's my job. I'm told what to do. I just do it. It's not me to thank," He stated, looking at through in the rear-view mirror. "It's not that simple," I mumbled to myself, but he said no more, and neither did I.

The other six boys were waiting for us at the door. I nodded my head as a thank you to Tae as he opened the door for me, but he didn't acknowledge it. Or didn't want to. Hoseok ran over to me, smiling, his face tear-stained. He tightly wrapped his arms around me, the sweet smell of strawberries tickled my nostrils as I laid my head on his shoulder. He was definitely the only one of them I'd welcome with open arms. He didn't let go of me until a short while later. "I thought we'd lost you," He said, and I laughed. "You can't get rid of me that easily."

I will not cry for my captor. I will not cry for my captor.

Why did I even feel like crying? I shouldn't have.

I looked over at the others. Jin laughed at me. "Oh, what now?" I sighed. He laughed more. "You look like you've been to hell and back," He admitted, and I looked down at myself. I guess I did. The once beautiful lavender purple and white dress had been ripped and dirt stained. My hair was tangled and knotted, and I didn't even want to know what my face looked like. I realized I had no shoes on either. They must've been seen as a weapon. They probably would have been. "I didn't realize they dragged me through a ditch before I woke up," I joked, but Namjoon looked worried. "I'm glad you're okay," Jungkook said. "Why?" I asked before I knew what I was saying. "I mean, you literally kidnapped me and are taking over my life, so why do you care?"

Oh no. Now is not the time for this, Minji.

None of the boys spoke, just looked at me, as if trying to suss me out. I was doing the same, to be honest. I could be so erratic at times.

I guess we all have issues.

Jimin decided to change the subject by asking a question. "They didn't hurt you bad, did they? If they did, I'll-" I laughed at Jimin's worried face. "I'm fine. They didn't hurt me. How are you? How's your arm?" I asked. It seemed like a year ago the whole casino incident occurred. I wondered about my father. Was he doing alright? Two of his men escaped, they would surely be planning something soon, right? My thoughts were interrupted by Jimin's answer. "I'm fine if you are," He stated, but he didn't seem to say it in a flirty matter. He smiled softly when I didn't answer. We all made our way inside, and the significant difference between the cool air and the hot air when we stepped inside hit me like a brick. "Come, let's converse. I have some suspicions of what to expect in the foreseeable future and we need to be ready. Minji, you too," Namjoon stated, taking us right past the dining room and to his office. He never took me to his office.

This must be important.
