Minji's pov.

We all took a seat in Namjoon's office. Namjoon sat at the opposite side of the desk, ruffling through a few pages before putting them down and leaning into the table. He looked tired. His hair was messy and he removed the glasses he was wearing for a moment to rub his eyes. He looked at us before proceeding.

"We don't know if the Choi's are alive." He stated. It was the first time it really hit me. Before this whole fiasco, killing, torturing, blackmailing and fighting people were all very much in my vocabulary, but even after what the Choi's did to me, I still didn't want them to die. They were blinded by the need for power. It wasn't acceptable, but it was understandable. I didn't want them dead. Just out of my life.

"But what is only right to assume is the worst. In this situation, the worst is that our soldiers are dead and all the Choi's live to see another day. It is only to assume that the five boys weren't the only ones on site, that they had backup, that they came in when you left. We don't know, but I'm almost sure some remain. And we must prepare for what is to come. The night of the casino, two Seoks fled. We don't know what they know, how long they have been tracking us, if at all, or how they are planning to come at this, but we have to be prepared. The Choi's know our location. If they were to help the Seoks in any way, all they would have to do is train and plan. I give it two weeks maximum. An attack could happen at any time. We have to be ready," He stated.

"Shouldn't we just flee?" Hoseok asked. All eyes were on him. "I mean, if they know where we'll be-" "We want this Hoseok. This is what we did all this for," Namjoon cut him off. I assumed 'did all this' was a reference to taking me. Hobi nodded, obviously not wanting to annoy his boss. "We have obvious advantages. Minji. We kept her here for so long, even with everything that has been going on in the house. We'll let them come to us. And we will be ready. We must prepare," He repeated. I felt all my emotions going ninety. Part of me wanted the boys to succeed in their mission. I wanted to stay with them. They weren't so bad. I wanted to be friends with Hobi, to learn coding with Jungkook, to talk and play piano with Yoongi. But another part of me wanted my father and the Seoks to pull through. I obviously knew what we were capable of. We weren't stupid, especially not my father. We knew playing by the other side's rules was skating on paper thin ice. The necessary precautions would be taken. Our men were well trained. We had plenty of arms and ammunition. But the Bangtan's were sly, and had such a large space to work with. The main side of me, the side that was in the majority, just wanted it all to stop.

But that's far too much to ask for in this industry.

I must've thought for a little too long or something, because everyone was staring at me. I looked around quickly and brushed a strand of my hair out of my face. "I'm sorry this is upsetting, Minji," Namjoon said. "You want to leave?" I shook my head. "I'm not upset," I lied. Namjoon nodded.

"Jimin, Taehyung," He said, turning his attention back to the boys. They nodded, faces blank. "You both are my head soldiers, you know this. I need you to take over training. Organize classes. Combat, sword fighting, shooting, everything you can. Can you do that?" He asked. They nodded and smiled at each other. "Hoseok, join them. I know you aren't up to scratch, but I noticed your fighting skills before your medical ones. I know I can count on you," Namjoon said to Hobi. He gulped but nodded, not able to refuse. "Jungkook. You hacked into the Choi's camera's with no issue. You really impressed me earlier. You do as much research on the Seoks as possible. I assume Minji won't be of help to you, which is understandable, but if there's anything you really can't-" "On it, sir," He said loudly before Namjoon could finish. I could only guess what he was going to say before Jungkook cut him off. "Jin, take control of all the others around the house. Maids, butlers, gatekeepers, tell them what they need to know and no more. Keep an eye on everybody who steps foot in and out of this building," Namjoon ordered. Jin nodded in understanding. "Yoongi, you work with me. We've got lots to do."

"What about me?" I asked. The attention was back on me. "It depends," Namjoon stated. "On what? I haven't quite captured the skills of mind reading yet," I replied. "Ah, Minji, always so sarcastic," He said slowly. He was silent for a moment before continuing. "It depends on what side you're on," He said. I felt my heart drop to my stomach. "Which is the right answer?" I asked, and he chuckled sadly. I sighed.

What to do... what to do....

"I can't help you, not information wise. If you want something from me..." I sighed. "You'll have to force it out of me. But that's not me saying I won't help you in other ways. I can't tell you anything, but I can be of assistance. I'll train with you. I'll plan with you. I'll fight alongside you," I said. The boys looked shocked. So was I. "I know what you want, and I don't think you'll stop until you get it. And unfortunately, I don't think my father will stop until he gets what he wants either. And of course, I'm in the way of this. I won't be of nuisance to you, but I won't let you kill him. I can't," I said. "You really love him," Jungkook said quietly after a moment of silence. "No. Well yes. But that's not why. I just... he... he's my dad, you know?" I stammered, but it was obvious I wasn't fooling anyone with my 'dad' cover-up. "We know that," Yoongi joked, but I couldn't laugh. Namjoon tilted his head slightly, a habit of his when he was thinking. I couldn't stay in the room much longer. The material of the dress and the warmth of the house was now too much rather than calming. "I'll excuse myself now," I said, getting up from my seat. Namjoon nodded, letting me know it was okay to return to my room.

Namjoon's pov.

We watched as she left. We seemed to do that often. "I feel bad for her," Jimin said as he turned back around to face me. "We don't feel bad for people," Jin stated, but his voice was a little higher than usual. I took a deep breath. "I'm gonna go talk to her," Jimin continued. I looked at him with raised eyebrows. "I can do it-" "No, it's alright," He convinced. "Okay," I replied, but I gave him a look. I hoped it was only to ask her about how she was feeling, but with Jimin I was never too sure. I dismissed the others, but my mind lingered on Jimin and Minji, and the thought of them together, even just talking, made my blood boil.
Oh no.

Minji's pov.

"You alright?" I asked the silver haired man as he sat beside me. "I just wanted to check on you," He said. I smiled. I had already changed into shorts and a tank top before Jimin had come knocking on my door, but I was still warm. I got up to open the window, and I felt his eyes on me the whole way. It was nearing dawn, judging by the sky. "You should get to sleep," I said to him, not replying to the previous statement. "Probably," He said. I sat back down next to him, looking him in the face. "Why are you here, Jimin?" He sighed.

"I don't have feelings for you," He blurted out.

I didn't know what to say. "That's... nice? Great to know," I said with furrowed eyebrows. "And you don't have feelings for me?" He questioned. "Did you fall and hit your head, Jimin?" I asked. He laughed. His eyes met mine. I felt flustered. "So there's nothing between us?" "Jimin, you're scaring me," I stated truthfully. I was dodging his question, because I didn't know. He was just a flirt, right? I didn't have feelings for him. I couldn't.

He was closer then, and he placed his hand on my leg. I didn't know how to react. Again. "So," He continued, running his hand up and down my thigh. I shivered at the touch, leg twitching. He smirked. "There'd be no strings attached if I did this, right?"

And before I knew it Jimin was kissing me.

And I wasn't saying no.
