"Sumi... Are you okay?" Jodie worriedly questioned to her fellow female agent, who have been staring at the glass of Rośe wine infront of her for almost ever since the bureau finished their meeting. The sound of billiard balls hitting against each other and the faint hint of alcohol that lingers in the air, all of it somehow calms Sumire down a little as she faced the female blonde agent.

The Blue Parrot bar have became the Federal Bureau's official meeting place ever since Kuroba Toichi seemingly crawled his way out of the underworld, much to Kaito's and Sumire's delight.

"Yeah, it's just that... I think Arthur will carry it out soon." The brunette sighed for who knows how many by now, causing Akai Shuichi who have been sitting next to her the whole time to glance at her for a second as though already understanding what his partner is on about.

"Don't you think it'll be better for him to know?" Camel, who have silently listening to the two female agents asked with James standing beside him, giving Sumire a look that she knew quite well after working with him in the past.

"He'll only end up blaming himself. It's better this way." The brunette sighed in frustration.

"Arthur warned Furuya Rei-san about you being a manipulator. You were trying to prove it right for some time because Arthur is watching until it backfired. It was fairly easy for you to create a persona... Afterall, you are both a writer and an actress but Amuro Tooru-kun, instead of believing what you were trying to portray through seduction and intimidation, fell for you." Her superior, James Black stated which caused Sumire to lazily gulp down the liquid on her glass in ignorance on what have just been said. She sighed as the too sweet after taste of the wine lingers inside her mouth.

"You were avoiding having Arthur know your true nature after that short infiltration mission eight years ago." Jodie stated.

"You make him continue to misunderstood you instead of letting him know it's him who indirectly caused his brother to die." Akai Shuichi stated, causing Sumire to smirk in mockery as he is in a similar situation with Furuya Rei.

"You paint me as a hero, Shu-kun. And I'm no hero. Rather the opposite, I assure you." Sumire scoffed before receiving a look from his former mentor, causing her to shut her mouth as she obviously crossed the line by her insensitive words since Shuichi is basically in the same case.

"Your true colors are showing. Cover it up." Kaito exclaimed from the other side of the bar, his face heavily flushed with a bottle of whiskey on his hand as he dance around.

"Who let that kid drink alcohol?" Sumire asked, ready to punch the lights out of the culprit.

"Let's let Kaito be. He's been really busy distracting the organization from realizing that the Pandora doesn't exist any longer." Kuroba Toichi stated from one of the table a bit away from the counter.

"Anyways, that mission... Shu-kun and I will take care of it, right?" Sumire questioned.

"Yes, she'll show up tomorrow for sure." James stated in clarification.

"She's one of the candidates for being Rum. Please still be careful, Sumi." The former Kaitou Kid said, worry evident in his tone as Sumire made her way outside to go home.

The next day...

"Hey, Conan-kun... That's Sumire-san, right?!" Ayumi exclaimed in disbelief, pointing to the black Mercedes CLK320 convertable car that is chasing another car that just passed by the bus they're riding on. Conan and the rest of the kids aside from Haibara - who knew what the older female is on about - stood up and leaned on the glass to confirm Ayumi's statement. The two first grader's teachers along with Amuro glanced at the window, trying to spot what suddenly got the kids riled up.
