"How's everything going in your investigation?" Sumire asked, entering the library where her fellow FBI agent is currently reading a book written by her Father. The disguised agent looked at her in acknowledgement before shifting his gaze back to the hard-covered book.

"Good... So far." He replied, flipping a page.

"What's the Public Security wanted with you?" Subaru questioned as he adjusted the glasses on his face properly while Sumire leaned on the desk he's currently using with her back facing the male, sighing in exhaustion the moment she heard his question.

"To be a partner to the person who loathes you with their life. I refuse though. I already need a lot of things to take care of." Sumire stated, causing Subaru to sigh as he put a bookmark on the page he stopped reading on before shutting the book close to properly look at his co-worker.

"Bourbon... Surely, you can add one more persona. Why not take the chance that could also help us deal with Black Organization? If they wanted you as a partner, they'll inform you of the organization as well." Subaru suggested, pouring himself and Sumire a glass of bourbon whiskey. He hand over one of the glass to Sumire, who gladly took it. She sip a bit from the glass before properly facing her disguised co-worker, a barely visible smile etched on her face in amusement.

"I'm not in your task force anymore, remember? I'm in the one chasing the organization who wanted the Pandora... If those two aren't the same organization atleast... Besides, that man's too sharp of an audience to fool. He will surely see through my show like the real life Sherlock Holmes he is. I hate it when the audience is too aware that it's almost impossible to find the right trick to use to outwit them." She half-heartedly chuckled, chugging down the rest of the whiskey on her glass before setting it down on the desk.

She showed Subaru a card of joker that seemed to come out of nowhere before snapping her fingers together and as if on cue, the lights on the library turned off. A few seconds later, the lights turned on once again and now there's a folder laying on top of the desk right infront of Subaru that looks like a giant copy of the card of joker.

"Speaking of shows, you finally have a heist with him next week." Akai Shuichi sighed as he opened the folder infront of him, showing him the data Sumire already managed to get her hands on about her investigation on the organization who wanted to have their filthy hands on Pandora.

The ash blonde female sighed in response, a bit skeptical about joining the Phantom Thief in his heist tonight as his lady. Afterall, she didn't exactly knew that she'll have to join him. Sumire only tried investigating the incident or rather, the disappearance of Kuroba Toichi who happened to be her and her mother's teacher in the arts of disguise.

The case however turned out to be more deep-rooted than she somewhat anticipated, resulting into her agreeing to be put out of the task force on the Black Organization to gather more information about what happened. It however took her two years to found out about the organization linked to the man who taught her, which she later got assigned to investigate by her superior that brings her here back in her home country three years after her brother's middle school graduation.

"If that gem isn't the Pandora, It'll hit him hard once again. That kid's experiencing too much hardships at such a young age but I know he's strong." Sumire sighed in stress, which he understood as he's one of the people who knew of the Phantom Thief true identity due to Sumire originally being his supposed partner to inflitrate the Black Organization back then before she got taken off the case.

"Do you think that the organization that desires the Pandora is the same as the one we're chasing after?" He asked as he poured some more bourbon whiskey into the younger agent's glass.
