The still healing wound on her abdomen is delicately wrapped with bandages, though it already showed signs that its already on its way to becoming an hidious scar.
As much as they hated to admit it to themselves, it only felt more horrible that they came to the decision to keep Sumire away from death's hold as even their youngest seemingly fell into a deep depression in sight of his only sister in a hospital bed, potentially brain dead.
Flowers of the same name as the one who laid on the bed could be seen on a vase beside her, no doubt placed by her little brother in hope that she would just storm out of her almost lifeless state and rip the said flowers to pieces and burn them but she still remained there in the bed without showing any sign of stirring up.
It pains Shinichi that he couldn't do anything about the situation his sister is on, even to comfort the man that saved Sumire and Arthur's life as the PSB agent refused to talk to anyone, especially after the doctor showed shock at the knowledge that no one knew about her health. The doctor stated that Kudo Sumire have been getting visitations everyday for five days prior to her and Arthur's admission to what the actress explained to be her gift for the love of her life, accompanied by a man and a woman who goes with names, Kazuyoshi Hiroyoshi and Fukuda Rena or sometimes even a Fukuda Ren, Hiraya Bituin Mandigma and a Min Apollo Wright.
Diagnosed with coarctation of the aorta of the heart and ADHD, with possibly only weeks to survive. Due for a surgery only the day after tomorrow to finally and hopefully remove her of the burden of her condition.
Furuya Rei couldn't believe he let himself be blind and deaf of her actions and words that hinted at her suffering, that hinted that they only have days to count. Though he's glad that she tried to fight her fear and hatred for hospitals for their future, he just wished that she could've told him so that he could have atleast fought along side her.

Shinichi could only blankly stare at his parents beside Shiho, knowing exactly what his mother is implying. It is the day that their mother let her go to America for the scout offer given to her by the FBI but without even needing a deduction, the shrunkened detective already knew that his older sister would've gone anyways as she would call it a call of destiny...
