ELIZA POV

I walked home and burst opened my door my uncles weren't home but my dad was

Eliza: WHAT IN THE FUCKING HELL DAD

Mattia: dont curse at me your 13 and I am your father I could do what I want

Mattia already knew what she was mad about

Eliza: I don't give two shits you know what you did

She pushed Mattia and Mattia went up to her and slapped her

Mattia: I SAID DONT CURSE AND DONT PUSH ME WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE

Eliza stared at her father in disbelief and went to her room and slammed the door. She had tears streaming down her face

Mattia: OPEN THIS GOD DAMN DOOR

Eliza went to her bathroom and called her uncle Gianluca on a house phone

Gianluca: hey favorite cousin

Eliza: *crying* uncle Gianluca

Gianluca: what happened? Are you okay

Eliza: can I go to your house for a while

Gianluca: of course I'm coming to pick you up right now

Eliza: no it's fine I'll walk it's close anyways

Gianluca: hell naw I'll die before my niece gets kidnapped

Eliza: I need some time to clear my head I promise I'll be okay see you soon

Gianluca: okay see you soon stay safe love you

Eliza: love you too

I heard my dad knock on my locked door

Mattia: Elizabeth I know I messed up and i shouldn't have slapped you. I got mad and- I'm sorry please can we talk

Eliza ignored him and was putting some clothes in a bag.

She quietly opened the window and jumped 2 stories. Eliza then walked to Gianlucas house that wasn't far from hers. She knocked on the door with tears coming out her eyes, her cheek was red from the irritation of the slap. Gianluca almost instantly opens it and supported her with a hug. She started bawling into his shirt

Gianluca: hey it's gonna be okay let's go inside and we can talk about it

Gianluca carries her inside and takes her to the couch.

Gianluca: what happened

Eliza: dad went to my school today and harassed a kid who was bullying me

Gianluca: why did he do that I mean I would but...

Eliza: and now that dude is looking for revenge because my dad embarrassed him. But I came home angry and said a curse word and dad slapped me so I'm just having a bad day

Eliza had tears in her eyes

Gianluca: come here it's gonna be okay

Eliza cried as she layed her head in Gianlucas chest

GIANLUCA POV

My niece called me crying so I obviously went into panic mode

Gianluca: what? What happened

We made a agreement that she was coming to my house. She sounded upset but I didn't mind her staying at my house.

I opened the door to see her with a red face and tears in her eyes. Her cheeks were swollen due to how much she cried. I gave her a big hug and kept her inside.

TIME SKIP

She told me what happened and is now bawling her eyes out on my chest. I can't believe Mattia slapped her, but I also understand where he was coming from. He totally should've handled it another way.

NOTIFICATION FROM PAYTON

Oh I remembered I texted Payton. I know about his and Elizas friendship. I know he wouldn't do anything to hurt her. So I called him over for emotional support.

Gianluca: hey dude can you come over. Elizas over here something happened between her and her dad and they got in a fight she's upset
