Chapter 16: Fairs And Old Friends

This chapter is going to be short sorry!! I Just Got This Laptop Back and I have a lot of makeup work to do from missing two days of school.

What nobody knows about me is I always have wanted to go to Montana. Everyone has always said it's the 'Home of the Horses' and i love horses. I rode when i was 5 till i was 13 but i stopped when we didn't have enough money to pay for it. I went to this really expensive place that was 2 hours away. It is going to take 4 hours and 35 minutes to get to Montana and we leave tomorrow. I only put my long sleeved shirts, jeans and boots in my bag for Montana. The usual temperature is cold there but not really cold. It's winter right now. So it's much colder. Today me and Mason are going to the Amusement Park. Simply because we haven't ever been to one together, our last day in Florida before Montana, and i love amusement parks. I have an outfit out that contains a pink handbag and black heel shoes, which i'm not going to wear neither. I am going to wear the white skirt, pink and black really short top, and black sneakers. I am putting my hair up in a french braid so if i get hot it's not a mess. I get everything set out, take a shower, and get dressed. I get my suitcases out of the closet and set them by the door in case i get back late. May and Jack are getting a divorce and Jack is living with his now apparently girlfriend. Yeah the same girl he has or was cheating on May with. "Ready?" i say walking into Mason's room. I see Mason putting his shoes on and then he gets up. "Hi. And yes, i am ready." he says happily and looks at me. He moves his eyes up and down looking at my outfit. I knew he would do this. "What? I didn't want to get too hot." i say smiling and checking the time on my phone. "Oh, your already too hot." he said laughing. "Come on it's already 5:50. It closes at mid-night." I say laughing at his pervy ness. "Can we skip going?" he says putting his hands on my waist. He is such a boy. "Why would you want to skip?" I ask. "You know why." he says smiling a devilish smile. "We can do that later. Like tomorrow or the next day. But now we are going!" i say taking his hand off my waist. "Fine. Let's go." he says laughing. We go to the car and drive to the amusement park. The park we go ti us called 'Busch Gardens' in Tampa, FL. It's BIG! We go on a lot of rides and they're amazing, then walk around playing the games and Mason wins me this amazing big stuffed dolphin. Then at 10 p.m. we watch the fireworks and eat cotton candy. After we do all that we go on two roller coasters then on the giant Ferris wheel. I can see lights and the trees look so small from here. "What do you think." Mason asks looking at me smiling. I have no idea why he is smiling though. "I think this is the best date ever!" i exclaim leaning over and kissing Mason on the cheek, which shakes the cart a little, because of my movement. "Yeah, defiantly." he says grabbing me so i won't slide. I look down and notice how far we are up. "You okay?" Mason asks noticing the scared look on my face. I swallow. "Yeah. Just so high up. I.... I uh um." i say getting choked up. with how high we are i can get really freaked out. "Hey hey look at me. We are fine, it's just a little high up that's all. You are okay." Mason says putting his hands on either side of my face making me look at him. I don't reply i just sit there looking at him. When i was little i was in a car wreck. Me and my grandmother, someone was speeding and hit us face on and we sped out and hit a pole from the back. I have bad asthma so every time i get scared or bad nerves i breath really hard and freak out, nobody was able to break me out of it except me friend Kirsty. Kirsty and I haven't talked since the day i left. We get to the bottom and we get out. "Veronica?!" i here a shriek from behind me. Me and Mason both jump and turn around quickly. And guess who i see standing there grinning ear to ear and jumping up and down. "Kir..... Kirsty?" i say surprised and she runs to hug me. She looks at me and almost yells. "You look hot! You would never wear this back home, what happened to you?!" she says looking at Mason. "Uh... thanks. What are you doing here?" i ask still shocked. "Me and my family are here on vacation for the summer." She says laughing for no reason. "Cool. Umm, this is Mason. My boyfriend." i say since she is starring at him like he is food and she hasn't ate in 2 weeks. "Ohh, I understand now." she says looking at my clothes then Mason. Okay, she thinks i wore this just because Mason is my boyfriend. Okay whatever..... okay maybe. "We should catch up this summer!" she shrieks. Wow she has gotten....loud. "Yeah, after I get back from Montana in 2 months." i say reassuring her. "Oh when do you leave?" she says sadly. She is way more dramatic then before. Something happened to her. I just don't know what. I look over and see a guy walking up to her from behind. He looks at me and Mason then kisses Kirsty's cheek. "Hey!" she says and turns around and kisses him on the lips roughly. Wow okay maybe she is just really happy with him. "Well, we are going to uh... um... go now. Ya bye Kirsty." i say and walk away quickly with Mason walking beside me. "You have weird friends, no offense." Mason says when we reach a cotton candy truck. "Why did we stop here?" Mason asks but i know he already knows. "Because i want some cotton candy, and you are going to buy it for me." I said smiling. Mason gets 2 dollars out and gets us a cotton candy stick. We go to a table and eat the cotton candy. Mason eats most of it I only eat a little. After the cotton candy is gone we go on one more ride called the 'Ring of Fire'. It was fun, then after that we go to the car and go home. This was the best date i've ever had.
