Chapter 17: Montana

I woke up the next morning when Mason knocked on the door. I didn't get up though I waited until he came in to sit up. "Hi sleepy head." Mason said sitting down next to me. "Hi weirdo." I say leaning my head on his shoulder. Mason slept in here, just got up early to get ready and then closed my door so I could sleep in peace. Mostly because Mason knows i love sleep and we got back supper late last night. "What time is it?" I ask yawning. Our flight is at 8:00 a.m. and i need time to get ready and i think i need to eat breakfast here since i will be gone for 2 months and Liam won't see me for that amount of time and i want to spend time with him before i leave, even if it's for 10 minutes. Ashlie and Robert are still going strong it's like what 8 months now? Because they started dating 2 months before Mason and I. And we have been dating for 6 months and 13 days but whose counting. "It's 6:30 and you need to get up so you can get ready." he says taking the blankets off me exposing my bare legs. I shiver when i wake up it's really cold in my room. "Cold...... covers. Please?" i say laying back down. Mason looks at me smiling and i lean up kiss his cheek. "No, do you wanna go or not?" he threatens. "Fine." i say and get up. Since i took a shower last night i only have to change, fix my hair, and brush my teeth and all that stuff. I get black skinny grey and black shirt, and black army boots. I put my hair up in a bun with a braid around it. After i get ready i walk out of the bathroom and see Mason sitting on my bed watching TV. "What time is it now?" i ask Mason since my phone is not charged since i had packed my charger and Mason just plugged mine in for me. "It is 7:02 to be exact. Ready to go eat breakfast with Liam? He has been waiting since 6:30." Mason asks. I nod and we go to the kitchen. When we reach the kitchen May is sitting at the counter with papers in front of her. Divorce papers or something with lawyers maybe. I don't know, but im not going to ask just in cause it's something bad and I don't want to upset her. She opened a note and read it, after about 2 minutes she got up and stormed to her room and slammed the door, loudly. Alex got up from the table too and stormed out the front door. "Alex!" yelled Mason, then he got up and ran out the door. "Damn. Liam are you done?" i asked and he just nodded. I got up and took Liam's plate and put in the sink and rinsed it. "Okay, are you stilol tired?" I asked since he usually doesn't get up until 10:30. He just nodded and got up to go back to bed. I let Mason handle Alex and went to check on May. I reach May's room and knock lightly. "May? May it's Veronica, can i talk to you?" i ask and hear a sniffle and the door opens. "May what happened out there?" i asked and sat next to her on her bed. "He wants the mansion. He wants full custody of all the kids. He wants all the money. He wants everything. And he won't stop until he gets it." she says. "Oh. He won't get anything he won't. I know he won't" I say even though that doesn't make her feel better. "If he does Mason will be across the Country and you will be here." She says. Oh my fudging gosh. "But he won't get custody." i say hopeful. "But he could. Thanks, i know your trying to make me feel better Veronica. You should go, don't want to miss your flight." she says and gets up. I get up and walk out of the room. "Bye May." i say and walk back to the kitchen. Mason is sitting there, on the couch waiting for me. "I'm back." i say and Mason turns around. I walk over to him and sit on his lap and kiss him on the lips, hard. I pull back and he looks surprised. "What was that for?" he asks. "I don't want you to live across the Country. Will your dad really get custody?" i ask. "No, babe he won't. Not of me at least. I will be eighteen in 4 months, and then i'm a legal adult." he says. That makes me feel better, but the fact that almost all of Jack's kids hate him right now and they might have to live with him isn't that fun to think about. "C'mon we have to go if we are going to make it. Jo and Aiden are in the car already." he says and i get up and we walk to the car with our hands interlocked. Joslyn is 3 months pregnant and has a mini baby bump. She is still energetic, just eats more. We go to the car and drive to the airport. Aiden is driving and Jo us in the passenger seat. So Mason and I are in the back.

After about an hour we are at the airport and went through security and the bag place. We are waiting for the car to puck us up, well for Hazel and Ricky to pick us up. I hear a car honk and look over. It's a bit cold here but not much. Feels like Minnesota to be honest. A brown headed tan man gets out of the car who i assume is Ricky. A brunette, blue eyed girl follows who i think is Hazel. The sky looks dark, like it's going to rain soon. Ricky greats Aiden and Mason and does the whole boy hand shake hug thing. "Ricky, Hazel this is Joslyn and Veronica." Mason says introducing Jo and I. "Hi." i say waving slightly to Ricky and Hazel. "So your the Veronica Mason never shuts up about." he says laughing. I blush and reply "I guess so." We all walk to the car and get in. It's a SUV so Hazel and Ricky are in the front, Aiden and Joslyn are in the middle, and Mason and I are in the back. We are holding hands and I am looking out the window because jeez this is an amazing sight. Like really amazing. On the way there i say mountains, hills, ranches, and mansions bigger then May's mansion. I can't believe i'm actually here! Next thing i knew we turned into a grassy, bumpy road. We drove for about half a mile before we reached a, what it looks to be 4-5 story mansion. Way bigger than May's. There was stables and horses everywhere. There where trucks and a really old car in the grass to the side. This looked like a boarding school. I saw a really pretty paint. (Type of horse.) I even saw 4 mustangs. I so want to ride those. "Are you coming?" Mason said breaking me from my day dream or riding these beautiful horses. "Yep." i said racing out of the car and getting my bags, which where already out of the back, because of Mason. He is a sweet boyfriend.

Sorry, i have been busy. My grades have gone down so i have to work REALLY hard to get them back up. I will be updating at least once a week at the most. Also i am *cough* *cough* *sigh* grounded.... so i have restrictions on my phone and laptop. But i will get one of those restrictions let go in a month then the other in two months. yay right? Follow me or you won't know what is happening with this book. I am serious i update VERY FLIPPING IMPORTANT STUFF ANOUT THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!! (sorry for yelling tehe:)....)
