Chapter 19: Girl Time & Lazy Day

Chapter 20 is coming in a couple days. So I'm on my laptop for the first time in forever. Don't start singing Frozen because i said that. Okay, so in end of March beginning of April I'm not going to be in Illinois. Im going with my dad to WWE wrestle-mania in California, Santa Clara. I'm leaving March 28 and won't be back till April 5. Exciting right?! But I won't be updating then. So sorry for the lack of updates in the last 2 months. Too much to handle between my birthday, school, swim team, and many others. But thanks for your patience!! Laptop just broke down on my phone now... I have been trying to update new chapters tho.

I wake up next to him. Sleeping peacefully. It's still dark outside. I have no idea why I'm up this early. Or what woke me up this early. 'Knock knock' k hear what woke me up. I get out of bed quietly and softly trying not to wake Mason up. The door squeaks just a bit as i open the door slowly. Hazel's standing there with Joslyn beside her.

"Did you do it?" they ask in sync. Que the blushing!! "You did!" Joslyn remarks. "Shut up! I will talk later okay!" I whisper yell at them and they walk away quickly.

I quietly run/walk back to bed. "What was that about? Are you going to gossip about us tomorrow?" He asks. Opps he heard. Eh. "No. Never. Pffftt." i say smiling at his weary eyes staring at me. "Don't go onto details with them." he says simply. Trust me i wasn't going to. "No problem. Not my plan. At all." I reply.

I wake back up at 11:06. Wow I usually wake up earlier. I guess we had a long night. I look over and Mason is laying on the covers facing me. Should I wake him up? Yep. I'm mean like that. I think to myself. I kiss Mason on his cheek lightly. He moves just a bit.

"Wake up weirdo." i say giggling a little. "What weirdo?" he says sighing then smiling. "It's 11:11. Time to get up. Make a wish." I don't know why i believe in this stuff. It's 11:11 so you make a wish. My wish is for Mason and I be together forever. I hope we are.

"I don't want to get up. Today I declare a lazy day." he says. "Fine. Lazy day it is." i say. I hear giggles from down the hall and get up quickly. "What are you doing? Lazy day remember." Mason asks looking at me while I pick out some clothes. "I remember. Just want to get dressed. Too cold for these shorts." i reply. Mason just stares at me. "What?" I ask laughing. "I didn't say anything." he says.

I pick out a gray shirt, dance sweat pants, and my favorite fuzzy boots. I put my hair up in a messy pony tail with a braid on the side. My phone dings and Mason grabs it. "'Ru up?' From Jo." he says holding the phone out for me to see. I hurry up and get dressed listening to Jo and Hazel walk towards our room. I don't want them to come in and get all gossipy girly.

Mason's still staring at me for some unknown reason. Once I'm done getting dressed I walk out of the closet and realize Mason was/is staring at me because i basically just stripped and got dressed in front of him. I guess it's because i feel so safe around him. "Phone." he says handing me my phone. "I'll be back in a bit. Jo wants to talk to me. And Hazel." i say hopeful he won't ask questions. "Okay. Forgetting something?" He asks as i wedge my phone in between my hip and my sweat pants.

He pulls me by the arm and I fall on him. I start laughing and he just stares at me. "What?!" I say in between laughs. "I love you." he says. Whoa what!!!?? Um uh. Eh err.
"You don't have to say it back. I just wanted to say that i love you, okay?" He says calmly. "Hey, ready to go?" Jo says bursting in. "Yeah. I will uh... be back soon." i say still a little surprised from the bomb Mason just dropped on me. "Where are you going?" Mason asks. "Coffee shop. Then the book store. Be back in like 2 hours maybe." Hazel says.
I kiss Mason and get up off him. As we walk outside the door i sigh loudly. "What did he say?" Jo asks getting all squealy. "He said 'I love you'" i say as we walk down the stairs.
"Oh my gosh VERONICA!!!!" Hazel and Jo squeal. "Shut up!" I say laughing. "And I didn't even say it back."
"What?!" Says Hazel.
"Can we talk about something else?"
"Yeah." says Jo.

I love him too just don't know how to say it aloud. Hazel drives to the coffee shop and we all sit in silence on our way there. "What else happened?" Jo finally asked breaking the silence.
"I... I did it." I hesitate to say but smile slightly. "What!" Hazel says and a few people stare at her. "Shh!" I quickly whisper. "Details." Jo insists. "I promised no details to anyone." i say laughing at Hazel's face.

"What! You told him you where going to tell us?" Jo says more of a statement than a question. "He guessed." i said lowly. I really don't want to talk about this right now. I don't know why. "Come on let's go to the bookstore." Hazel hastily insists since she can tell I'm not into the conversation.

On the car ride to the bookstore Jo and Hazel babble on about what pop singer should marry which famous actor/actress. I just sit in the back seat quietly thinking about Mason. What if our relationship fails? I can't think about that. That's bad luck for us. Right? Ugh too confusing.

"Hello? Earth to Veronica! Vern!!" Jo says getting me to wake from my daze of questions. "Let's go." Hazel says laughing. I get out of the car and walk inside with them. It rains almost daily here so right now it starts raining. I run inside and go straight to the romance/action books. I instantly see a pack of 4 books. Divergent, Insurgent, Allegiant, and Four. All books I've been wanting to read. It's $38.17 so i get it. I also get The Fault in Our Stars and The Best of Me. Books i think will be good since I've seen the movies now i want to read it desperately. After we all have bought our books we head back to the house/mansion.

Once we are back I go into the room and Mason isn't there. Probably playing games with Ricky and Aiden. Or went to the bathroom or something. I put the books on a shelf and start reading Divergent. It's really good. Once I'm half way through the book Mason walks in. "Nobody told me you where back." He says smiling and walking towards the bed where I'm sitting. "Well I'm back." i say grinning. He laughs and takes the book from me. It's now 5 o'clock. Wow how time passes. We got back at 3 and then i read for 2 hours. "Where were you?" I asks. "Playing pool with Ricky." he says sitting next to me and touching my right leg. I look at his hand and smile.

"Want to watch a movie?" I ask. "Yeah can it be scary." he asks hopeful. "Yes! I want to watch The Woman in Black 2." I say bouncing up and down on the bed. He chuckles and finds the movie and turns it on. Looking over I notice Mason is looking extra handsome today. I put my hand on his cheek and move his head towards me. "Mason...." I start then get nervous and choke. So i cover it up with kissing him. We kiss for about 3 minutes.

"I love you." I say smiling against his lips. "I love you too." he responds then kisses me lightly.

We watch the movie and I fall asleep on him. We fell in love like you fall asleep, slowly but then all at once. I thought.
