Getting out of my vehicle, I walked into the doctor's office. The only reason I came was to see Alei and our son. I had planned on telling her that I didn't want to paternity test done and I wanted to begin working on us again.

As I walked into the building, I glanced around and saw her breastfeeding in the corner of the waiting room.

"Hi."

Looking up at me, she responded as I sat.

"Glad you could make it." She said not even looking at me.

"Yea. I came to make sure our son was good."

"Mmm."

"And also, to tell you that I don't need the paternity test done. I know he is mines."

"Did Jerome's spirit come back and tell you that?" She mumbled.

"Shay told you huh?"

"Yes she did. How could you August. Of all the people in the world to let get in your head, him." She began to yell.

Some people on the waiting room even started looking at us.

"Babe can we talk about everything after."

"Why? For you to lie to me some more? You told me you were in the studio but you were in New York."

"I didn't say anything because I knew how you would react."

"Oh wow!" She scoffed. "But you had a fucking fit over me going to do a damn job."

"That's different Alei."

"How so? Because I was pregnant?"

"Yes."

"That's bull shit. I was pregnant not sick and I genuinely forgot to tell you. You on the other hand lied to me. How am I to believe that all the other times now you said you were late that you really were."

"Because I was."

"Whatever August. Like I said. I'll gibe you your damn paternity test so you can ease your mind."

"I don't want one."

"Whatever."

"Aleisha?"

Looking up, the nurse stood there.

"Doctor Sanders would see you now." She smiled.

"Thanks."

Getting up, I got Gabe's bag as she held him. Entering the room, we sat there and waited.

"So are we going to talk or not?"

"So how is my favorite family doing?" Doctor Sanders walked.

"Could be better." Alei side eyed me.

"Oh boy." He looked at us. "How is this little one then." He took Gabe.

"As great ad he can be." Alei smiled.

"That's good."

We sat and observed as he did his checks with him.

"He seems to have a bit of a cold."

"Yea. He got that from his sister."

"Ok. Have you been giving him anything?"

"No I didn't want to do anything over the counter so I just upped his vitamin c intake where fruit is concerned."

"Very good mommy. And are you still nursing?"

"Yes I am."

"Ok, well he should be fine in no time. Let me just go get the scale and we shall weight him."
