Shay

"Oh my God!"

Sighing, I sat on the couch for a minute. I was home trying to get some cleaning done but between this baby dancing on my bladder and the fact that this house work seemed never ending, everything was beginning to get to me.

"OK Shay-Ann. Get up and finished what you started."

Coaching myself like I've been doing these days, I got up and went to the laundry room. Filling the washer, I set it and left it, heading into the kitchen.

Things were slowly getting back to normal. Alei was back to living with August, even though she stays in one of the other rooms, they were working on their issues.

I honestly didn't think they would have reached to that state but at least they were working on it.

Grabbing a bag of chips and the dip, before heading back into the living room, I made myself comfortable as I turned on the TV. Finding something to watch, I rested a bit and was good till my phone began to ring. Seeing Evan's name, I sighed

"Lord what happened now?"

Shaking my head, I was a bit skeptical about answering it but I did anyway.

"Yes Evan!"

"Not the attitude today Shay, I'm not with it."

"Who is really the boss here?"

"Now you know thats just a title you hold here."

"I know because ain't no bad bitches in this place other than me."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night sis." He laughed.

"What is the reason for this call?"

"You got a package."

" And your nosey ass opened it didn't you?"

"Well I had ta make sure it wasn't anything to kill us. All this fineness can't be wasted you know"

"What was in the package?"

"A DVD."

"Did you play it?"

"Now you know better. You know damn well I don't be in people's business like that."

"I swear Evan. Only you can frustrate me on my time off."

"Because I love you sis. Now what do you want me to do with it?"

"Just leave it there. I'll see if I can get Jaz to get it for me. I'm not in the mood to leave this house."

"Ok boss."

"And please don't open any more of my mail."

"Bye boss."

"Evan!"

After that the phone was silent. Sighing, I just went back to what I was doing after texting Jaz.

Alei

"I've been thinking."

Looking up from feeding Gabe, I gave him my attention.

"How about we go somewhere?"

"We as in?"

"Us. You me and our children."

Taking a deep breath, I exhaled. Things been going OK the past couple days since I've moved back in.

I was in fact in another room, but I was more open to discussion and us overall trying.
