Checking my phone, it was a good half hour since Alei left. Looking over at T, I have him a head nod. Returning it, I got up and left as he followed me to the back where her room was.

"What you thinking goon?"

"I'm thinking shit don't take this long to collect money." I said annoyed.

Soon as I took the corner to her area, I steppes back, seeing her coming Out there with her stuff and an envelope.

As I was about to make my presence known, Sean came from the opposite direction and grabbed her waist from behind.

"What the hell are you doing?" She tried to get away from him.

Just from looking at him, it was clear that he was drunk.

"I'm tryna have some fun with you and you tryna leave."

"Because I'm tired and I'm ready to go home."

"But things are now getting started."

"You're drunk Sean, you need to go chill or something."

"I rather or something with you." He smirks backing her onto the wall.

"What you need to do us get off me before August comes looking for me. I already had to wait long to get my cut as is. Now move!" She pushed him off.

"Yung, yeen gon do something?" T asked.

"Not yet man. Let me see how stupid this fool is." I glared at them.

"Man fuck him!" He pulled her by her wrist. He don't deserve you and you know it!"

Pressing up on her, he gripped her by her jaw and kissed her and that's when I tripped.

"So its like that woe?" I came into sight with T behind me.

"Aug!" Alei exclaimed.

Just from the look on her face, I could tell she was scared.

"Babe its not"

"Its cool ma. I saw and heard everything." I approach them.

"Look man, it was all just a misunderstanding." He tried to defend himself.

"A misunderstanding huh?" I stood in front of him.

"Yea man. I got over myself."

"Alei go stand by T." I instructed while looking at this fool.

"Babe?"

"What I just told you?"

Not saying anything else, she walked over to T like I said.

"Ya know?" I put my attention back on him as I rolled up my sleeves. "From the jump I never fucked with you." I took off my hat. "I've always told Alei to keep ha eyes open round you and you not only proved a nigga right, but ya ass crossed that line to the point whea I can seriously get into a lot of trouble."

"August man, look I'm sor-"

Before he could even get it out, I punched him.

"Babe!" Alei yelled.

"Shut up!" I pointed at her fueled with rage.

Putting my attention back on Sean, he laid on the floor holding his nose.

"How the fuck, you gonna tell ma girl Ion deserve her?" I punched him again, this time in his gut.

"Baby!"

"Alei what I just told you?"

"August let's just go please!" She pleaded.

Ignoring her, I continued beating on Sean. Realizing I was getting over myself, T stepped in and stopped me. It was as though I had blacked out.

Getting up, I turned to Alei as she had this look off terror in her eyes.

"Baybeh."

Standing there like a statue, she just stared at me while T helped dude up. I didn't do much damage because he was barely breathing, but I know Alei hates it.

"I'm sorry ma."

"I just want to go home." She sighed.

Not saying anything, he nodded and wrapped his arm around me before we walked out.

Alei

Sitting in the car, the ride was awkwardly silent. That was the first time I'd seen Aug react like that. Even when he fought with Druex, he was never like that.

Feeling the car come to a complete stop, I was shaken out my thoughts by the sound of his voice.

"Let's go baybeh."

Looking at him as though I was lost, I looked past him and saw we had reached the house.

"Alei ya gotta get out. T gotta go." He spoke.

Nodding, I looked at T and smiled before getting out. Entering the house, I went straight to my room and changed.

Sensing I was a bit despondent, he gave me my space and got himself cleaned up in another shower.

"Aug?"

Finally finished with my shower, I pulled my robe and tied it as I made my way looking for him.

"Babe?" I called again but got no answer.

Seeing the black door open, I walked out to the back gate which was also open. Feeling the sand through my toes, I walked across the private beach only to see him sitting on the shore line.

"Babe?"

"Huh?" He turned around. "Alei watchu doing outchea?"

"I was looking for you." I approached him.

Sitting down next to him, he wrapped his arm around me as I laid my head on his shoulder.

"I'm going to see if I can get out of my contract." I said.

"OK." He nodded.

"I'm sorry you had to see that and that it happened. I never expected him to get like that."

"Alcohol brings out the truth in people."

"It sure does." I nodded.

"Where you going to tell me if I didn't come looking for you?"

"Of course I was. He over stepped his line. I've never hid anything from you on purpose and I'm not going to start now."

"On purpose?" He looked at me.

"I'm referring to when I forgot to tell you about the Miami trip."

"Oh right."

"Babe listen. Despite all that we've been through, I don't want to lose you. I can be mad at you and still want you next to me and when you're mad at me all I think about is how I can fix anything."

"Give ya man a kiss." He turned to me.

Leaning in, we shared a passionate kiss. This then led to him being on top of me as well made love right there.

"Oh God!" I whispered as he pushed deeper in me, holding me firm.

"Tell me you love me!"

"I love you August! I fucking love you!" I said in this ear as I hugged him tightly.

As my walls tightened up around him, I felt his fluids being released in me.

"Promise me you won't leave me." He said as well laid there in each others arms.

"I can't promise you that." I replied.

Lifting up, he stared at me.

"I'm reassuring you that I'm not going to leave you." I sat up and kissed him.

Scooping me up, I laughed out as he carried me back to the house.
