"You shouldn't have called him to begin with Aug. I told you I was going to handle it."

Sighing, I sat by the vanity in my room doing my makeup. While i was asleep, my phone woke me up and it was a rather annoyed Druex.

"I know Alei and I wasn't even going to go at him like that but the way he answered the phone triggered me."

"That's another thing. We've been working on how we respond to negative people and you let him get to you."

"And that pisses me off more."

Turning to him, he stood there looking good as he finishes getting dressed.

"Stop looking at me like that or else we ain't gon leave hea on time." He smirked.

"I'm sorry." I got up.

Smoothing out my dress, I gave my hair a quick fluff before I approached him.

"Thank you for coming out tonight and supporting me." I smiled as I fixed his collar.

"You're my girl." He held my chin then kissed me. "Of course I gotta support you."

Smiling, I turned to walk off but he stopped me by holding my hand.

"Mmm." I gave him my attention.

"I love you."

"I love you too babe." I snickered at this behaviour.

Letting go of my hand, he placed his hand in his pocket and pulled out an all too familiar box.

"I still want you to be my wife so again I ask, will you marry me." He opened it, revealing my ring.

"Yes." I smiled, trying not to cry.

Removing the ring from the box, he took my left hand and slipped it on.

"I swear on everything, I'm never going to hurt you like that again."

"I believe you babe."

Wrapping my arms around this neck, we kissed.

"Cmon now. Let's finish before you don't reach that club." He kissed me a couple more times.

Slipping on my shoes, I grabbed my phone and keys and dropped them in my clutch and we left.

"I know you don't like Sean, but just bare with him tonight for me please."

"Fa you yes, but if he tries anything, I'm beating him on site."

"OK." I nodded.

I knew he was being honest and there wasn't anything I could say to change his mind.

"Trey is suppose to be there tonight as well."

"Aight." He nodded.

"Terrence?"
