"Ladybug! Go get your bag and put it by the door.

"Yes mommy."

Making my way downstairs with mines and August's bag, she wasn't too far behind me.

"You ready to spend sometime with daddy?"

"Mhmm." She nodded.

Since getting married, so much has changed. For one, Gabe was a year old and beyond vocal and active.

I had a lot of work to do with him and speaking after his first words being booty and blunt. Thankfully he has stopped.

"Mommy why can't I stay with you tonight?"

"Because Love, I have to be with Auntie Shay before her wedding tomorrow. I will see you early in the morning."

"OK." She sighed. "Can I have a snack?"

"Sure lah Lady." Aug came in the house.

"Thank you." She smiles and ran off.

"Ya got everything?"

"Yea."

"Good. Ya think ya got time ta fit ya man in real quick?" He smirked.

"Sorry babe, but not with the both of them awake."

"Was worth a shot." He shrugged and took Gabriel. "C'mon lah man. Let's go get one of em jello cups." He kissed his cheek about to walk off.

"Babe?"

"Yo?" He turned back at me.

"I got you after we drop them off." I smirked.

"Aight." He licked his lips before leaving.

With tomorrow being Shay's wedding, we would be staying in the hotel where everything was being done. We were dropping the children off at my aunts and then going there.

When the wedding is over, Amirah would be heading to Cali with Druex for the Christmas break. It was still uncertain whether she would be there for Christmas or not.

"Babe you got everything you had to ge-"

Pausing as I entered the kitchen, him, Amirah and Gabe were all sitting on the floor eating pretzel sticks and neutella.

"What's up?" He looked at me.

"Y'all having all the fun and ain't invite me?" I approached them.

"My bad baybeh." He shifted around.

Sitting next to him, he kissed me on my cheek before feeding me one.

"Ma, ma."

Looking at Gabe, he took his time trying stand up. When he finally did, he came over to me and sat on me. Wiping his hands with my top, Aug pulled the stuff closer all while Amirah was sitting on his lap.

"How you been?" He looked over at me.

"Good." I nodded.

"You sure?"

"Yes babe."

"Aight. Well ya ready ta head out?"

"Mhmm."

"Mirah gon wash up ladybug."

"OK daddy." She got up and ran off.

When we heard that, we stared at each other.

"Did she just?" I asked.

"I think she did." Aug looked at me in shock.

"Let's go babe." I smiled.
