Louis...
"Guys....we have a problem." Melanie said as her face paled.
I was hardcore praying that she didn't say what I just knew she was going to say. "Melanie. Where is he?" I slowly and cautiously asked.
Don't say it.
"He's absolutely smashed at a pub."
I let my eyes close, and my head roll back as I let out a sigh. Well shit. "How bad is it?" I asked, hoping that maybe he hadn't reached that point yet.
"He called me Maddie." She said in a strained voice.
"Shit." I heard Zayn mutter from next to me.
"He's there." Harry added, turning to look into my nervous eyes.
"He's where?" She asked.
All the lads shared the same weary look as me. We were all there. We all watched him slowly go downhill before he crashed, full speed, at the bottom. I could see in their eyes that they all remembered those dark times too.
"Let's just say that the last time Niall thought Annabelle was dead, didn't go too well." Liam sighed.
My mind started to go back to that first night that we saw the start of something bad. The four of us knew it was going to end horribly, but we really didn't understand just how much damage would be done in the long run.
Niall had been in London for several months, and in those five months, he clicked right in with me and the boys. He quickly became the little baby of the group, and we all looked after him as older brothers would. He was a good kid, and everyone knew it. We were all popular at school, but we weren't the typical popular group of boys. Sure, the girls admired us, and all the guys wanted to be our friend, but as for the stereotypical 'popular players and jerks', we weren't close to that. We were nice to everyone, we believed in actual relationships and being gentlemen, and we only went to parties to socialize and be friendly. We weren't into drinking, not because it was underage, but because we just didn't care. And we weren't into the whole drug thing either.
But that slowly started to change once Niall got that call. I still remember it.
He was the only one at my house that day. We were playing Fifa on my X-box, when his phone rang. I remember seeing his eyes glaze up with tears and shock as he spoke on the phone. He had hung up afterwards and simply muttered a quiet 'she's gone' when I asked what happened. Then he had gotten up and ran out before I could stop him. It took a week for him to finally explain what happened. Once we all knew, we were devastated. We all knew so much about Annabelle, and could feel the loss when he told us.
He grieved normally for a good two months. He was depressed, miserable, and sad all the time, and that was completely normal and understandable. But one day, he just snapped out of it. He suggested we went to friends party that same night, and we did, not thinking anything of it.
But that night didn't go well at all.
That night was the first piece in changing everything for that hurt fourteen year old boy.

"So, what made you just randomly want to go to a party tonight, Niall?" Zayn asked from the passenger seat next to me.
