"Do you want me to drive you home again?" Haechan asks

Hyewon fiddled with her fingers, looking down at her shoes. She debated if she should tell him or no, but she doesn't know where else to go. "Um actually do you mind if I stay at your place for tonight? Not in your house though but uh, in the base. Only if you don't mind I'm not forcing you!"

Haechan chuckled at her. "Why? Are you running away from your house again?"

"I just don't have any other choice right now. I just want to be away from my house for today."

Haechan nods, making the girl smile. Haechan opened the door for her before getting in. He started driving, constantly glancing at the girl beside him.

"Why are you running away this time?"

Hyewon sighs, looking at the view through the window. "My brother called me earlier. He told me that my mother is possibly still alive."

"Is she supposed to be dead?"

"She's already dead to me. Just because she's probably still breathing that doesn't mean she's still alive."

Haechan didn't know what else to say so he just stayed quiet. After a few minutes, they finally arrived at the base.

They both walked into the living room, seeing Jaemin and Jeno playing with their nintendo switch. Renjun is sitting there beside them, watching the two play the game.

Jeno turned his head, seeing his friend standing there. "Oh Haechan you're back- wait Hyewon?"

Hyewon awkwardly smiled at him. Mark then walked into the room along with Jisung and Chenle. "Hyewon? Why did you bring her here I thought you said it's not safe for her here?"

"Why are you here?" Jisung asks

"U-uh, I'm staying here for tonight if that's okay with you guys."

Jaemin smiled, nodding his head. "Of course it's fine! Do you need anything?"

Hyewon shook her head, smiling back at him.

"You can use my shirt or hoodie or whatever you want, it's in my room." Haechan said

She looked at Mark who happened to be beside her. Mark nods, understanding what she means.

"Right, I'll show you where his room is, follow me."

She followed him walking through the hallways. Then they went upstairs, walking through another hallway. Their base is very big, it's actually fascinating to her. They have training rooms, game room, and many more interesting things.

Haechan likes to have a space for his own, so it's only his room, the meeting room, and the game room in the third floor.

Mark opened the door, entering Haechan's room before opening his drawer. His room looked a little bit messy but it's still well organized. The interiors are mostly white but it suits the whole aesthethic of the room.

"Here just choose whatever you like I'm sure he wouldn't mind."

Mark then walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. Hyewon puts her bag on the floor, grabbing a black adidas hoodie and black adidas sweatpants. She noticed that almost all of his clothes are from the same brand which is adidas.

She entered the bathroom, quickly changing her clothes. She puts her uniform inside her bag and she was about to exit his room when something caught her eye.

It's a picture of Haechan with his mother when he was a kid. He looks happy there, happier than he is right now. She realized that he never really mention about his mother before.

She was lost inside her own thoughts when suddenly a voice startled her.

"What are you looking at?"

Hyewon looked back, seeing the owner of this room staring at her right in the eye. "Nothing."

Haechan looked at the photo frame behind her, showing no emotion at all. He then darted his eyes towards clothes she's wearing. "Nice pick, that's my favorite hoodie."

"Yeah, thanks for letting me stay here and use your clothes."

"Yeah, just ask Jaemin to show you the guest room, it's downstairs in the second floor. And if you need anything, jsut ask me. I'll be here in my room."

Hyewon nods. "Right, goodnight."

Haehcan just hummed as a reply. He then lied down on his bed, grabbing the photo frame beside him. He misses his mom, but he knew that he could never bring her back to life again.

"I miss you mom, I really do."
