Hyewon packed her things, putting it inside her back. She was about to leave when suddenly someone tapped her shoulder, making her turn around.
Jisung smiled at her, flashing his cute smile. "I heard you're joining us to the karaoke, is that right?"
Hyewon smiled back at him, nodding her head. "Yeah, and I heard your hyungs are coming too."
"Yeah, they are. It's our first time hanging out like this, although we're classmates. Probably because we're not really close." Jisung said
"Yeah, that's right."
The athmosphere soon turned into an awkward one, making Jisung look away from her. Hyewon chuckled lightly. "You don't have to be nervous around me, you know."
"Yeah sorry, I'm just not used to hang around girls."
"Alright, I guess I'll see you there, Park Jisung." Hyewon smiled
Jisung nods. "Yeah, see you there Kim Hyewon."
Hyewon turned around, exiting her classroom. She took her phone, she texted her brother earlier about the karaoke and thankfully, they agreed to it. She waited for Ryujin to come out from her classroom since they're in different class.
But someone's presence caught her eye. It's a guy, he's wearing a leather jacket, his hair is dyed to a brown color with purple highlights on the bottom of his hair, making him pop out more than the others.
He looked back at her, smirking. It's the second time they made eye contact, and somehow Hyewon could detect the danger in him.
"Hey Hyewon, what are you looking at?" Ryujin said, snapping her back to reality as her thoughts slowly drifted her away
Hyewon turned her head towards Ryujin. "What? Oh yeah, nothing."
"Okay? So you're ready to go?"
Hyewon was about to answer when suddenly someone called her with a deep yet sweet honey-like voice. "Kim Hyewon,"
Hyewon turned around, facing the guy. She stared at him with blank look, not knowing what to say.
The older guy chuckled lightly, staring at her confused face. "I didn't mean to startle you, sorry for that."
Hyewon smiled lightly, glancing at Ryujin nervously. "Y-yeah, it's okay."
Ryujin is also clueless about the whole situation. Lee Haechan- he's not the type of person to talk to a random girl just like that. I mean sure, Hyewon is not just a random girl she's very influental and famous aroudn the school but that doesn't make her any more special to him.
"It's our first time talking, isn't it? Nice to meet you, my name is Lee Haechan." He said, giving out his hand
Hyewon nervously took his hand, letting it go again not long after that. "I'm sure you already know my name, right?"
Haechan chuckled lightly. "Of course I do, everyone here knows you, darling."
"T-thanks? I'll take that as a compliment."
"It is indeed a compliment. Anyways, nice meeting you, Kim Hyewon. I'm sure we'll see each other a lot more in the future." He said, winking at her
He then turned his body around, walking back to his group of friends. Hyewon widened her eyes, unsure of what just happened. She looked at Ryujin and they both has the exact same confused look on their faces.
Ryujin covered her mouth with her hand. "What was that?"
"I don't know but he seems, interesting."
