Haechan was peacefully eating his lunch, he was. But that's until he heard that someone is hitting on Hyewon. Being the short-tempered person he is, of course he immediately ditched his lunch for that.
He spotted her there, standing in the middle of the crowds with a guy in front of her. He squinted his eyes, trying to identify the guy.
As soon as he found out who it is, his blood boils. It's one of his worst enemies, Lee Felix. Felix is the typical fuck boy, the boy everyone wants to be with but ends up only having a one night stand with. He smirked to himself, walking towards the two.
"So what do you say? Do you want to go out with me tomorrow?" Felix asks
Hyewon only smiled, knowing Haechan would be really mad if he found out about this. "No, sorry. I'm busy."
Felix chuckled, crossing the both of his arms on his chest. "Busy? Busy with what?"
"She's going out with me,"
The students gasp, not expecting Lee Haechan to be the one saying that. Felix turned around, looking at the guy with an annoyed look. Haechan smirked, now standing in front of him. "Look who it is if it isn't Lee Felix, the school's biggest jerk."
"What do you want?"
Haechan chuckled, rolling his eyes. "I want my girlfriend back."
"She's your girlfriend? Oh please, why would she want to be with you? The only thing you're good at is being bad. She's too good to be with someone like you." Haechan's eyes immediately darken as soon as he heard his words. "What did you say?"
Felix gave him a smug look. "You heard me, I said what I said."
As soon as those words left his mouth, he immediately regret it because Haechan just hit him right on his face. "Oh yeah? Are you sure about that?"
Felix wiped the blood that came out from his nose, knowing he couldn't fight him. But anger got the best of him, he felt humiliated. So he punched him back.
Haechan looked down, laughing to himself. He looked back at him, giving him a deadly stare.
"You're going to regret that, you little fucker."
He grabbed him by his collar, throwing his body forcefully to the ground. Felix groaned in pain as he stood up and punched him back. Haechan didn't hesitate to fight back and without knowing the fight turned into a serious one.
Hyewon widened her eyes as she saw her boyfriend, pulling him back. "Haechan stop!"
Haechan roughly sighed, pushing Felix away from him. He stood up, taking Hyewon's hand as he walks away from the scene, leaving Felix and the rest of the students.
"Lee Haechan!" They both stopped walking. Haechan turned around, now facing the girl. His face is pretty much bruised, but not as bad as Felix.
Hyewon sighs, pulling him to walk towards the other way- to the infirmary room. Hyewon pushed him to sit on the bed as she grabbed some band-aids and alcohol. "What are you doing?"
Hyewon didn't say anything, she just plainly walked towards him as she dabbed the alcohol on his face with the cotton ball. Haechan winced, slightly glaring at her.
"You seriously have anger issues."
Haechan snickered. "What, you expect me to stay still? He's annoying, I'd rather fight him than get humiliated in front of everyone."
Hyewon sighs, placing the band-aid on his right cheek. She looked down at him, giving him a sweet smile. "Just be careful you idiot."
"You should stop worrying about me, I'm fine. You should look after yourself more." Hyewon frowned, looking at him with a confused look. "I know but at least I'm not involved in weird shits like you."
Haechan nods, smiling at her. He brought one of his hands to her face, caressing her cheeks. "But that doesn't guarantee your safety,"
Hyewon only smiled at him, looking directly into his eyes. The light from the window illuminate beautifully, making her face shine. "If something happened to you, I don't think I can forgive myself. Things are going to change, and we're not going to be the same again."
"Why not?" Hyewon asks
Haechan only smiled, shaking his head. "Because that's what fate decided. But don't worry, my choice will be you. Even if I travel back in time a hundred times, it will always be you."
