"Lee Donghyuck I told you not to do that!"

Haechan only chuckled, running around the room as Hyewon chased him. The rest of the guys looked at them with a bright smile plastered on their faces. It's been a year since the whole incident. Haechan's mother died that day, he was pretty sad about it but Hyewon's presence helped him a lot.

About Hyewon's mother- well let's just say Yoongi ended her life that day. It was quite fascinating to see actually because he appeared out of nowhere and he just killed her right away.

The Kim Corp is still running smoothly, even better than ever. Their success even reaches other countries and it's a massive achievement for them. Seokjin is now the owner of the company, taking his father's job. Namjoon is officially the CEO along with Taehyung. Haechan got along with Taehyung for the past year, probably because he's the most easy-going brother among all of them.

Haechan already graduated high school, which means he's now officially working for his father's company. He's still the leader of the dreamies of course, but they're not really active these days as the main leader of NCT, Taeyong, decided to give them a break after the incident last year- what a thoughtful leader.

Jisung and Hyewon are preparing for their mid-term while Chenle is on his senior year so he's preparing himself well for the upcoming exams. Jeno, Jaemin, and Renjun are still working for the mafia of course. As for Jaemin, he's working a lot with NCT U nowadays. 

Hyewon and Haechan still argue a lot. But not the serious ones, the playful ones. Just like today, when Haechan decided to take her phone and run around the whole base just to piss her off. Their life may not be the easiest to live, but life is not meant to be easy. There will always be bumps along their way to their end, but as long as they have each other, they can overcome anything that's coming for them.

"Catch me if you can!" Haechan playfully yelled, continueing to run around the base, making Hyewon groan in annoyance. 

"They can never be at peace." Renjun commented

Jeno nods. "At least it's better than last time when Mark-hyung almost caught them—"

"Hey, hey, hey, shut it! I don't wanna remember about it, yikes." 

Jeno chuckled, giving him a smug look. "Mark-hyung is such a cockblock."

At last, Haechan finally stopped as he ran out of energy. Hyewon on the other hand, she squealed in happiness as he managed to catch the boy, hugging his figure tightly. "Aha, I got you!"

Haechan chuckled, turning around to face the girl. He smiled at her, giving her a warm smile. "Sure, whatever you want love."

They both laughed as he tightened his arms around her figure. They developed a strong bond recently, the incident from last year really brought them closer to each other. He started to open up to her about his past, and they've gotten a lot happier now.

"Alright that's it, I can't take this whole lovey dovey thing." Jisung stood up from the couch, making Hyewon snicker at him. "You're just jealous."

"Okay then, I gotta go. I have a date with Jieun." Renjun said, walking back towards his room to change his clothes. Jaemin also stood up, making Jisung frown at him. "Oh please, you too hyung?"

Jaemin shrugged. "Well if they both can hang out with their girlfriends, why can't I? Besides, Miyoung is probably bored right now."

Chenle laughed, patting his shoulder. "Poor boy, just go get yourself a girlfriend."

"Why don't you hang out with Yerin, isn't she your girlfriend?" Haechan teased, making the younger boy roll his eyes at him. "She's not my girlfriend."

Mark and Jeno laughed, entertained by the scene in front of them. In their base, there's never a thing called peace and quiet. But that's the fun thing about them, they're all chaotic and noisy. Haechan chuckled, grabbing Hyewon's hand as he walked to his room.

"Yah Lee Donghyuck you're not gonna do it right?" Mark yelled at his brother

"Shut up hyung!"

Hyewon chuckled, shaking her head. They both entered his room and he immediately tackled her down to his bed, hugging her tightly. "I want a cuddle."

"You're such a baby." Hyewon said

"I'm not! You are, you're the little spoon." 

"Sure,"

Haechan smiled, humming her a song. He always loved singing, and to her surprise his voice is actually really good- amazing even. She loves it when he hums random songs like this, it soothes her. 

Humming the familiar melody to her, the moonlight shines through the window, lighting up his dark room dimly, creating a comfortable athmosphere. Hyewon looked up, staring at his beautiful orbs. "Can you sing me a song?"

"Of course, what song do you want me to sing for you, love?"

"That one song you sung a few days ago, the one I love." She said, not knowing the exact title of the song. Haechan chuckled, nodding his head. "Dear dream?"

Hyewon only nods, burying her head on his chest again as he started to sing the song. His voice is smooth, hard to describe but it's very unique. Reaching the main point of the song, he looked down at her, singing the last few lines. "I'll be your home,"

She smiled, knowing that he already is. 

"I love you." He said, making the girl look up at him. Hyewon tigtened her arms around his waist, giving him her warmest smile. "I love you too, dumbass."

"Hey I'm not a dumbass!" 

Hyewon grinned, looking at him playfully. "Yes you are."

"It's okay then, at least I'm your dumbass."

Hyewon nods her head lightly, burying her head on his chest again. Love is the perfect love to describe what they've been through together. Their relationship is not perfect, but it's beautiful just the way it is. They were just a moon that couldn't shine without any sun. But now that they're together, they're no longer a moon- they're a star that has their own light. It may not be as bright as the sun, but having their own light is enough for them.
