"She keeps on dying it infuriates me!" Haechan rants

Jeno sighs. "Well maybe instead of complaining why don't you find the reason of why she keeps on dying?"

"That's true, if she keeps on dying like this it means someone wants to kill her for a reason." Mark added

Jisung nods, patting Haechan's shoulder earning a groan from the older guy. "Chill hyung, we just need to find out who's behind this and break the time loop, right?"

Renjun shook his head, grabbing some files from the table.

"It's not that simple, breaking a time loop could be very risky. One of them could die for real in the process of breaking the loop."

Jaemin pursed his lips as he tried to think of the best solution. But for now, there's none.

"Do you remember what that X guy looked like? Any specific characteristics or something?"

Haechan shook his head, throwing his body on the couch. "All I can remember was his tattoo on his hand, it's like a flower I think. I can't really see his face because of his mask."

Chenle frowned. "What flower?"

"How am I supposed to know I'm not a florist." Haechan rolled his eyes

"I saw his tattoo too, somehow it looks familiar." Jisung said

Mark sighs, sitting down beside his younger brother. "Well for now we just need to keep our guards up, that person could be out there ready to kill Hyewon again."

They all nod.

Not long after that, a notification pops up on both Mark and Haechan's phone. It's a reminder. A reminder that today is their mother's death anniversary.

They both looked at each other, pain could be seen from their eyes. They know their father won't come with them to their mother's cemetery with them.

Haechan and Mark both stood up, making the others turn their heads towards them both.

"Where are you going?" Jeno asks

Mark smiled, trying to hide the pain he's been keeping on for so long. Haechan on the other hand, his facial expression is always like this- cold and monotone.

"Our mother's cemetary, don't wait for us. We're going to get changed first."

They both changed their clothes into a nice black suit. Mark drove them both to the cemetary and Haechan prepared the flower bucket.

They both looked down, staring at their mother's picture. It's been a while since they visited this place. Last year they both went here separately because of their mafia work. But thankfully for them now they can visit their mother together.

"It's been a while mom, we both miss you. So much." Mark said, wiping the tears in the corner of his eye

Haechan stared at his mother's picture blankly, not knowing what to say. He doesn't know how to express this feeling he's feeling right now. But one thing's for sure- he's not happy. Not at all.

"Haechan grew up nicely mom, I'm sure you'll be proud when you see him."

Haechan chuckled lightly, looking at Mark. "And Mark is still annoying, mom."

They both chuckled, still hiding the pain.

"See you next time mom, hopefully. I hope you're doing great up there." Mark said before leaving the place along with Haechan

"Hyung you can go first, I'll stay here for a little more."

Mark frowned. "Are you okay with that?"

Haechan just hummed as a reply. Mark nods, patting his shoulder before walking back towards his car.

Haechan wanted to cry badly. But he can't. To him, it'll make him weak and vulnerable. He stopped walking, standing in the middle of the hallway.

Empty, vacant, sorrowful. That's what he's feeling right now.

He looked down, trying to snap back to the reality. But he couldn't, it felt like his whole world is falling apart.

A sound of somene's footsteps filled the hallway, but he ignored it. But that's until he saw someone's shoes right in front of him.

Slowly, he looked up. His eyes meeting a pair of hazel eyes- beautiful hazel eyes. The girl smiled at him, handing him a piece of tissue. "Here, you might need this."

Haechan stared blankly at the girl, not knowing why she's here. "Why are you here, Hyewon?"

She just smiled. She looks beautiful. She's wearing a white floral dress with a pair of black heels. "It's my mother's death anniversary, although I don't know if she's really dead or not."

Hyewon chuckled a little, but Haechan remained unbothered with his monotone and cold expression.

She noticed a glimpse of pain in his eyes. So she walked closer to him, putting her arms around his waist, hugging him tightly as she burried her face on his chest.

"Just cry, I know you want to cry. Don't hold it in for too long."

Haechan bitterly chuckled. "I'm not."

Hyewon pulled away from him, observing his face. He flashed her a smile, but instead of smiling back she sighs. "Don't try too hard to hide your feelings by smiling. isn't it hard and painful to fool your heart like that?"

Haechan was taken aback by her words. She's true though, he's getting tired of fooling his heart like that. It hurts, a lot. He looked down, not knowing what to reply.

Tears began to well up in his eyes, so she hugged him again, patting his back in comfort. He cried for the first time in years, he finally let it all out. The sadness, the bitterness, and everything he has been keeping inside to himself.

Hyewon smiled lightly, still patting his back as he lets out soft sobs.

"It's okay, I'm here."
