"Are you okay? Did you came across those men?" Renjun asks as soon as Haechan entered the base along with Hyewon on his side
Haechan shrugged, sitting down on the couch. The rest of the dreamies darted their eyes towards Hyewon who still had a surprised look on her face.
"He killed them all, did he?" Jeno asks
Hyewon shyly nods, rubbing the back of her neck. Mark sighs, they're going to get in trouble again this time. "Just sit there for a while, I'll concact Taeyong-hyung to clear everything up."
Hyewon took a sit next to Haechan who had his eyes glued to his phone screen. She wants to ask him a lot of questions, but she's not sure if he'll answer it or no.
The rest of the dreamies walk back to their room, leaving the two alone in the living room. Hyewon still stared at him, her head full of many thoughts.
"If you want to ask something just ask, don't stare at me like that."
Hyewon looked away, her cheeks tinted red. "I-I'm not."
Haechan chuckled at her behaviour, finally looking at the girl. "Yeah sure."
"Who are those guys earlier?"
Haechan sighs, putting his phone down. "I don't really know, at least for now. But don't worry, you're safe here. I won't let them hurt you."
Hyewon smiled at his words, finding herself lost in his beautiful brown eyes.
"Why did you save me?"
Haechan stayed quiet, his eyes still fixicated to her and only her. The answer is very simple, because he didn't want her to die or else he'll go back in time again. But he couldn't deny the fact that to him it's much more than that now.
He smiled. "Just, because."
Hyewon playfully rolled her eyes. "Oh come on, there must be a reason."
Haechan's smile turn into a cocky one as he playfully inched closer towards the girl. He smirked at her, looking at her face as she waits for his answer. "Because,"
Hyewon nods her head, waiting for him to say the answer.
"You still owe me 10 dollars."
Hyewon's smile turn into a glare, making Haechan chuckle at her expression. "Since when do I owe you 10 dollars?"
"What were you expecting another answer?" Haechan asks, making the girl look away, feeling flustered from his intense stare
Haechan smiled, leaning closer towards her ears. "Did you expect me to say because I like you?"
Hyewon turned her head towards him, her cheeks flushed. But as soon as she turn her head, she immediately regret it as their faces were just inches apart.
Haechan gave her a mischivious smile, sneaking his hand to her waist. He didn't know why he did that, but he knew for a fact that his heart is raging inside his chest.
"You what?" Hyewon asks in almost a whisper, but it's still loud enough for him to hear it
Haechan stayed quiet, not knowing what to answer her.
Hyewon sigh at the lack of reply, so she decided to tell him about her feelings first. "I like you."
Haechan's smile turn into a frown as he stared at the girl in complete shock. He never felt this way before, he could feel the nervousness building up inside him. "What did you say?"
"I like you, Lee Haechan." She repeated
As soon as he heard those words, he pulled her body into his, their body clashing together including their lips. He kissed her.
Hyewon widened her eyes, but soon she finally gave in, circling her hand around his neck, kissing him back. It felt amazing, like something just exploded inside of her. Hyewon ran her fingers through his hair, she likes his soft and long hair- it suits him.
"Haechan do you want— oh shit sorry."
They both pulled away in an instant, looking at Mark with a flustered look on their faces. Haechan nervously gulped, rubbing the back of his head. "Y-yeah, what's up?"
Mark looked away from the two. "Nothing uh, it looks like you two are busy so I'll come back later I guess?"
He was about to leave the living room when he suddenly remembered something.
"Oh yeah uh, I don't think you should do that here the others are literally in the next room so uh, shit sorry I'll just leave now."
The two awkwardly look at each other, not knowing what to say. Their cheeks are flushed red in embarrassment. Hyewon stood up to leave the room but Haechan grabbed her hand, stopping her from leaving.
He stood up, standing in front of the girl, towering her. He smiled, pulling her body closer to his again. But this time, he hugged her. He always has his own ways to surprise her. With his words, his action, or even just by his looks.
Haechan pulled away from her, staring deeply into her eyes. "Starting from today, you're mine."
