𝐂𝐑𝐘𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐂 ➶ 𝐥𝐡𝐜

𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞; 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐨𝐬𝐦𝐨𝐬

The wind brushes through her hair, sending shivers down her spine. The sun is shining brightly and the flowers are all blooming. It's the perfect season, her favorite season- spring. 

Illuminated by the sunlight, the girl smiled happily, spinning around under the tree on the flower field. Dancing around playfully with the song by The Beatles makes it even better, it makes her feel nostalgic for whatever reason. 

Haechan smiled, looking at the love of his life. They're currently having a trip to the village, far away from the big city they both lives in. It's her first time coming here and she loves it already. 

"Do you like it here, love?"

Hyewon nods, sitting back down next to him. They're having a picnic, just the both of them in the flower field next to his grandmother's house. "I love it!"

She leaned closer to his face, pecking his cheeks. He chuckled, nodding his head happily. They had a lot of fun today. His grandmother is surprisingly very nice, unlike his parents. It's their last day here before going back to Seoul tomorrow.

Hyewon smiled widely, resting her head on his shoulder. Staring at the sun that's slowly going down and the beautiful orange sky above them. They're enjoying each other's presence and warmth, it's perfect. 

"Thank you for taking me here, I had a lot of fun today." She said honestly, still looking at the beautiful scenery. This is one of those days where they can't see the end of it, the days that just went on and on in a good way. "Anything for you, my love."

She stood up, looking down at him. She smiled at him, helding out her hand for him in which he gladly took. He just frowned at her, not knowing exactly what she wants. She took her phone that's connected to the speaker, playing another song that makes them feel nostalgic.

She turned back to him, placing her hands on his shoulder. He chuckled, now knowing that she wants to dance with him. He placed one of his hand on her hips and the other one ruffling her hair playfully.

They both laughed, dancing slowly to the song. No matter where they are, no matter what season, when they're together it always feel like summer. Hyewon smiled at him, leaning her head on his shoulder, smelling his soft perfume. 

She looked up at him again, seeing the same sparkly eyes she saw years ago. But the only difference is, there's no more melancholy left- only happiness and love. He remembered it as if it was yesterday, when he was struggling with loneliness. But she came to his life, turning it all into a memory.

Looking at each other under the beautiful orange light, forgetting as if the world belongs to them and only them. They're becoming each other's home, each other's safe place. Perhaps the reason why this evening is so beautiful is not because of the perfect light or the flowers, but because of them.

"It's been a long three years, isn't it?" She asks quietly

Haechan chuckled, nodding his head. "So are you happy now?"

"I am, thanks to you of course. I wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for you."

The word 'forever' is like a sandcastle, it will eventually break down. But their love for each other are eternal, they will always find their way back home which is each other. The scars you get from other people can only be healed by another people, and they healed each other's scars.

Haechan smiled, leaning his face closer to her's. He pulled her closer by her waist, placing a soft kiss on her lips. She smiled in between the kisses, kissing him back. They both giggled in between the kisses and they eventually pulled away, gasping for air.

Grabbing her hand, he smiled as run towards the flower field. They went from having a normal picnic, to slow dancing under the tree, to running around the flower field. They're just living the most beautiful moment of their life- their beautiful time.

The wind keeps on blowing her long hair and white dress, and he chuckled at her as she keeps on trying to keep her hair tidy. "It's almost nighttime, shouldn't we go back now?"

Haechan only shook his head, looking at the colorful flowers around them. "You remind me of that purple flower?"

"Why is that?"

"Purple is the last color of the rainbow, it means I will trust and love you for a long time." He replied, making the girl look at him in awe. "Really?"

"No, I made it all up." He said, breaking into a small laugh

They both silently stared at the scenery, enjoying how this day starts and how it ends. It's beautiful, her life with him. Everything used to be black and white to her, until he came to her life and brought colors to her life.

"Oh god, kids nowadays. Lee Donghyuck it's dinner time, what are you two doing there?" His grandmother yelled, making the two look back at her. 

He chuckled, nodding his head. "Alright grandma, be there in five!"

She smiled at him, taking his hand as they both walked back to the house. It may be the end of this day, but it's not the end of their story. They will be out there, somewhere- having fun together. After all, their love for each other is timeless.
