"How'd you find out about him anyways?" Jisung asks
"Uh, he was hiding in the alley and I just happen to pass by. It's near the school area anyways."
The rest of them nods, waiting for Chenle and Haechan. He's currently in the medical room, getting the treatments he need. They're all waiting for him in the living room, hoping he'd be okay.
"Is he okay though?"
Jaemin gave her a smile. "Don't worry, he's been worse before. Way worse."
They all knew about the time loop, except for Hyewon of course. They still don't know how this time loop started, but it definitely has something to do with her.
After waiting for a while, Hyewon's phone suddenly rings. She stared at the name that popped up for a while, debating whether she should pick it up or not.
Jeno noticed her anxious look so he glanced at her phone, seeing an unknown number calling her. Strangely, although it's an unknown number it seems like she knew who the person was.
"Are going to pick that up or what?"
Hyewon snapped back into the reality, turning her head towards the older boy. "U-uh, yeah no."
Shakily, she declined the call. She shoved her phone back into her pocket, her mind wondering about the call.
Was it really her?
For the past 2 years, this number randomly calls her. Even if she picks it up, she'll only hear the sound of someone's breath. She never knew who this number belonged to, or what their intention was in calling her.
A few minutes later, Haechan walked into the living room. As soon as they noticed his presence, they all immediately looked at him.
Jisung stood up, walking towards the guy. "Hyung, are you okay?"
Haechan just nods, averting his gaze towards the girl sitting next to Jeno. Hyewon stood up, she was about to ask him how he's feeling but he cuts her off, turning his head towards Jaemin.
"Jaemin, get her home. It's late."
Hyewon frowned. "No, no it's okay, it's not that late anyways. Are you—"
"Just go home, your safety is my priority. It's not safe here." Haechan said
Hyewon's world stopped as soon as she heard what he just said. She felt the butterflies in her stomach going wild. Looking at his starry eyes, she found herself being lost in them.
"Haechan's right Hyewon, we don't want any other unfortunate events that will eventually lead to another unfortunate event to happen." Renjun said, turning his gaze towards Haechan
Hyewon finally gave up, walking towards the older boy in front of her. She smiled at him, debating if she should do any other thing than just smile at him.
So she hesitantly circled her arms around him. Carefully so that she didn't put any pressure on his injured stomach. "Get well soon. You should rest, don't force yourself to do the things you can't do at the moment."
Haechan smiled, patting her back. She then pulled away from him, following Jaemin to exit the room.
As soon as the two left, Haechan plops himself down on the couch, staring at the ceiling.
"She likes you." Jeno nonchalantly said
Haechan chuckled. "Yeah right. She's just like that to everyone."
"No she's not! She's literally glaring at almost everyone in class." Said the youngest
"Right, she's not sweet like that. I bet she has a soft spot for you hyung." Chenle added
Haechan stayed quiet. He didn't know what to say or how to feel about this.
"She shouldn't be falling for me." He mummbled
Jeno frowned. "Why? You're the only one that could save her, you're both technically meant to be with each other."
"No we're not. It's just a coincidence. I just happen to be the one who could save her."
Renjun smiled, patting his shoulder. "There's no such thing as a coincidence, my man."
