Eleven

Francine's POV

Mabilis lumipas ang school week. Kyle and I are now on our way to the airport para sunduin sina Ate Kath and Kuya DJ. Hindi nakasama sina Seth and Andrea since they have to go back sa St. Luke's to check on Seth's injury.

We parked sa labas ng NAIA 3 Arrivals area. Looking for every people na lumalabas.

Later on, nakita na namin sina Ate Kath and Kuya DJ.

"They really look good together, no?" Sabi Kyle bago kami bumaba ng car.

Lumabas kami ng car and sinalubong ang mga kapatid namin.

"Welcome home, Ate." Yakap ko kay Ate Kath.

She kissed my forehead before giving Kyle a smile.

"Let's go." Sabi naman ni Kuya DJ. "Ako na mag-drive, Kyle."

"You sure, Kuya?" Medyo gulat na tanong ni Kyle. "Wala ka bang jetlag or anything?"

"Yup." Tango ni Kuya DJ, agad naman inabot ni Kyle ang car keys sakanya.

Nakabalik kami sa Ascott almost lunch time. Kaya dumerecho na kami sa hotel restaurant para i-meet sina Andrea at Seth.

"Oh, what happened to you?" Agad na tanong ni Kuya DJ kay Seth when he saw his casted arm.

"Ah, basketball incident lang, Kuya." Sagot ni Seth.

We continued with our lunch. I can see na Andrea is helping out Seth so he can eat properly, I can't help but smile kase nakikita kong masaya ang mga mata at ngiti ni Andrea.

After lunch, we headed at the Ayala suite para dun muna tumambay. We decided na mag-Netflix na lang this Saturday. Sa gitna ng Netflix marathon namin, the main door opened, we turned to see Kuya Enrique.

"Hey." Bati nya saming lahat.

Medyo matagal din syang nawala. I think he left a day or two after ng party namin.

He closed the door and headed straight to his room.

I looked at Seth and Andrea na nasa couch, andito kase kami sa floor ni Kyle. We gave them the couch para makahiga si Seth and hindi sya mangalay sa injury nya. Nakatulog na pala silang dalawa. Seth's head is placed in a pillow laid on Andrea's lap. Kita ko din na magkahawak ang kamay nila.

Nakasandal naman ako kay Kyle, and his arms are wrapped around me. I'd love to stay this way with him anytime.

Nagpatuloy kami sa panonood ng Ocean's 8 nung bigla akong kinalabit ni Kyle.

"Oh, why?" Lingon ko sakanya, medyo nagulat ako kase our faces are just few inches away from each other.

Lumayo ng konti si Kyle.

"Do you wanna walk around?" Aya nya sakin.

"S-sure."

Inalalayan nya ako patayo, then we turned off the tv. We placed the blanket over Seth, and headed out of the hotel.

Malamig ang simoy ng hangin at medyo maingay ang paligid. We're in Makati City after all.

Nagpunta kami ni Kyle sa Greenbelt park. Walking distance lang kase ito sa Ascott.

Umupo kami sa bench na nakaharap sa chapel. If you look straight ahead, altar ang makikita mo.

Pumikit ako at nagpasalamat sa lahat ng blessing and guidance ni Lord saming lahat. Hindi lang sa mga San Juan, pati na din sa mga Ayala at mga kakilala namin.
