Fifteen

Andrea's POV

The week flew fast, finally, Friday na. Time for the cheer squad try outs. I am really looking forward to this.

Sa gym ang venue ng try outs. I am doing some stretching to ready my body and muscles.

"Galingan mo ha." Sabi ni Francine na nakaupo sa bleachers, kaharap ko.

"Oo naman." I smiled.

Maya maya, dumating naman na sina Kyle and Seth. Tinabihan ni Kyle si Francine sa bleachers.

Inakbayan naman ako ni Seth, I took a quick side glance sakanya before smiling.

"Oh, ready ka na ba?" Tanong ni Seth saken.

"Oo naman." I answered confidently. "I'll ace this try outs."

One by one ang pag-present ng dance preparation/routine/moves. After a few girls, ako naman na yung sumalang. Medyo kabado ako, pero alam ko sa sarili ko na I want this. Gusto lo maging part ng cheer squad.

I took a quick glance kina Seth, Francine and Kyle. They gave me a supportive smile. I took a deep breath before before starting. The music played, and the next thing I knew, I'm already dancing to the beat.

Nakarinig ako ng palakpak after ko mag-present. Hindi ko na-realize na tapos na pala ako. Sumunod naman saken si AC.

"Nice moves." Sabi nya as I past by her. Pero ramdam kong parang sarcastic sya.

"Thanks." I stopped sa harap nya.

AC took the stage and started her performance.

I went back to the bleachers and sat beside Seth.

"Galing mo dun ha!" Seth tells me.

"Thanks." I smiled habang nagpupunas ng pawis.

"I'm sure makukuha ka." Sabi naman ni Francine.

"Oo naman, 'Drea yan e." Sabi ni Kyle.

I love how they show their support. How we show support sa isa't isa pag may gustong gawin or i-achieve para sa mga sarili namin.

After all the girls, tinawag kaming lahat ni Coach. She announced na sa Monday daw ipo-post sa bulletin board ang mga nakuha for the cheer squad.

Paalis na ako sa try outs area when AC approached me.

"What do you want now, AC?" I eyed her.

"I heard what happened to Kuya Enrique and Ate Liza." She started.

I swear, my temper peaked on its highest when she mentioned Kuya Enrique and Ate Liza's name in the same sentence.

"It's none of your business." Sabi ko before turning my back on her.

Hindi pa ako nakakalayo kay AC, when she opened her annoying mouth again.

"Maybe because your Ate is not a good girlfriend at all." Sabi nya.

I stopped in my tracks and immediately glared at her.

"Anong sabi mo?" Lapit ko sakanya ulit.

She gave me this sly smile. That's when I felt really mad.
