Twenty Eight (Francine, Kyle, Louise, and AC)

Francine's POV

Bagong araw nanaman ngayon. Andrea just called last night telling me na hindi sya tumuloy, at na nasa Ayala residence sya. I'm happy na she decided to stay, and that she is finally with Seth. I know na si Seth pa din talaga ang nasa puso nya, nakita ko naman yun all through the years.

I went out of bed, and headed down sa dining room for breakfast. Agad kong naamoy ang mabangong breakfast na luto ni Ate Liza.

"Good morning, Ate." I smiled at her.

"Chin, Louise left you a letter." Ate Liza told me as she hands me a white envelope with my name written on it.

I took the envelope and tinignan ko muna for a few seconds before opening it. I can feel my heart pounding a bit, hindi ko din alam kung bakit.

After breakfast, I headed to our garden and sat on the wooden swing na binuo nila Kuya DJ and Kuya Enrique for us.

I opened the envelope, and pulled out the paper. I unfolded it, and started to read.

Francine,

By the time that you are reading this letter, malamang nasa Australia na ulit ako. 

I wrote this letter to tell you that being with you for the past years has been one of the best years of my life. The friendship we had is something that I really treasure, and will treasure forever.

Masaya ako na nakilala kita, at naging parte ka ng buhay ko. Isa ka sa mga naging inspiration ko to do more arts, isa ka sa mga taong hinahangaan ko when it comes to arts. I'm happy that we created an art gallery together. Asahan mong aalagaan ko ang gallery na ito para sayo.

I understand na you won't be able to reciprocate the feelings I had for you. Pero masaya ako na naramdaman ko ang pagmamahal mo saken bilang isang kaibigan. 

Malaki ang naging impact mo sa buhay ko, and I will be forever grateful na kinausap mo ako non sa Art Class at nagsimula ang friendship naten.

I wish you all the best in everything that you will do, Chin. Asahan mong I will do the same for me, I will work harder for arts, and kung ano man ang tahakin ko aside from it.

Thank you for everything that you did for me.

I will treasure all the memories I had with you since we met. Know that you can always call me if you need a friend, and a shoulder to lean on.

I folded the letter, and hindi ko namalayan na naluha na pala ako. Louise has been nothing but a very good friend to me. Isa sya sa mga taong pinapahalagahan ko ng sobra.

Gaya ng gusto nya for me, I want him to find happiness in everything na gagawin nya. Sana, magkita pa kami sa future.

I folded the letter, and ibinalik ko ito sa envelope. I looked up at the bright sky, para bang sinasabi nito na ito ang bagong simula para saming lahat. A new chapter in our lives, kasama pa din ang mga taong naging parte ng buhay namin mula noon, hanggang ngayon.

Siguro ito na yung chapter para samin lahat kung san wala nang masasamang tao na sisira sa kung ano ang meron kami ng mga Ayala. I'm so amazed na nanatiling matatag ang foundation ng pagmamahal and friendship na nasimulan ng mga parents namin.

Love, and friendship na nagsimula nung mga college pa sila. Ramdam namin na anak talaga ang turing samin nila Tita Dawn, and Tito Richard. How Tito sacrificed his freedom just to protect all of us. I can't imagine lahat ng hirap at sakit na pinagdaanan nya sa jail for years, pero I'm thankful kase he wanted to protect us.
