Finally fed, Mona sees they are running late now as she has an important conference call to be on soon. Mona carries Dolly to her playpen and hands Dolly a bottle to suck. Dolly cries, making squeezing fingers at Mona's boob crying that mommy has to feed her, she didn't want to do it herself.
Mona sighs, picks Dolly up, and carries her to her desk and logs in for the day holding Dolly on her lap. As best she can, Mona tries to check her emails and start working while holding and feeding Dolly.
At least feeding on Mona's nipples, she can work as Dolly nurses. When Dolly is finished, Mona puts her back into the playpen and turns on Dolly's tablet on low. Dolly seems content, and Mona goes back to work. Dolly gurgles happily and hums and sings a song she has made up. Mona tells Dolly she has to be quiet now as the conference call is starting.
Dolly just pouts over this but knows she doesn't dare disturb mommy when on such calls. Once the call ends, Dolly begins singing her songs louder and louder. Over and over. Mona tells Dolly a few times to tone it down, modulate herself, or just to hush. All to no avail.
With another call just moments away, Mona picks Dolly up and carries her to her crib, saying, "I think my little girl needs a nap this morning." Dolly does let Mona check her diaper, which luckily is still dry.
"Now be my good girl and lay down while mommy is on her important call. I need you to be quiet. You know that, baby." Dolly pouts a little as Mona put the pacifier back in her mouth and leave the room closing the door. The heavy curtains are closed, so the nursery is in darkness to help Dolly fall asleep. And Mona has the baby monitor near her, on low, to hear if Dolly cries out. As Mona closes the door, she hears Dolly mumbling something low, but she is not sure what Dolly is muttering about.
