A/N
My lovely readers,
I am addicted to the sweet comments you leave me everyday. I've said this before and I will keep saying it until the story is finished: you are the reason I keep writing and meticulously updating every day!
Fan Fiction by definition is a fictional story based on another existing story. Each writer has their own style and interpretation of characters and events. No one is right, no one is wrong. Thinking differently is what makes us all unique with our ideas and beliefs. I know you have your own preferences when it comes to characters from the Untamed series and I accept and respect each one of your suggestions.
But..
This story is a figment of my imagination. A world where each event and detail makes sense to me and the future of this story. I haven't written the whole story yet so I honestly don't know how it will end but I know that it will have a happy ending. I never back down from an idea once it's written and built upon. It is what it is.. So let your creative mind run wild beyond my words and create your own interpretations.
Bear with me and I promise to try my best to make it to the end with your support.
I hope you know how much you all mean to me.
Give @klum227 some love for putting up with my weird typos and half-asleep grammar. You're a saint for editing my updates everyday..

Wuxian was confused: "You're saying that Biming did not kill Kaoji and the finders?"
Zewu Jun nods then turns to look at Jinhai: "Tell us what you saw."
Jinhai glares at the older man, pursing his lips in defiance. Wuxian sighs loudly and says: "Please.."
Jinhai looks at Wuxian: "I arrived and saw the faceless weirdo looming over the boy's body. I didn't actually see him kill them if that's what you want to know."
Wuxian scratched his head in confusion: "Then you attacked him?"
Jinhai throws his hands in the air: "You told me to kill the bastard! I was going to before he ran away."
Wuxian shares a knowing look with Zewu Jun: "Spear?"
Zewu Jun frowns: "We cannot accuse Shenhua Clan without proof. They are part of the treaty now, we need to tread lightly."
Grandmaster Qiren was staring daggers at the Slayer, who for some reason thinks that being disrespectful in his presence is ok: "Lan Jinhai, I may have no say in who my son chooses as a disciple, but I do have a say on who stays in Cloud Recesses."
Wuxian sees the fire exchanged between his father and disciple: "Father, I asked him to come in. May he stay in the Silent Room since it's not considered part of Cloud Recesses?"
Both Zewu Jun and Wangji turned to stare at Wuxian. Wangji whispers to him: "That's my mother's room."
Wuxian smiles warmly at him: "She got punished indirectly by trying to protect him. Don't you think it's.. befitting?"
Wangji shares a look with Zewu Jun and after a few seconds, they both nod their approval.
Qiren huffs at Jinhai: "Count your blessings, Slayer. My son may be trusting but I am not. Trespass or harm another and I will have you beheaded."
Jinhai was not fazed by Qiren's threat, or at least he did not show it. He turns to address Wuxian: "Do you want something else?"
Wuxian shakes his head and the Slayer bows only to him and leaves the room.
Zewu Jun shakes his head: "Taming him will be hard."
Wuxian smiles: "I'm not going to tame him. He's a good man at heart, I just need to remind him of that."
Qiren folds his hands and says: "What does the book say we should do next?"
Wuxian shrugs: "It's not a manual. It's more like a manifesto, filled with holes and second guessing. I didn't care to share it when I first read it because.. Because I didn't think.."
The world around Wuxian blends together into one giant blob of colors as a new vision of the future reveals itself..
'Wuxian sees his future self walking in a field of dead cultivators as he plays his transparent flute. Dear heavens, he missed it. The feeling of tranquility as notes flow from his fingertips, coupled with tendrils of power. He longed for his Chenqing so much! He found himself staring at his future and forgetting the dead, lining the earth underneath his feet. His future self continues to play a calming tune as Da Ziran slowly glows, scattering into many fireflies and gently landing on everybody slain on the ground. Wuxian never saw himself like that before. No wonder people kept calling him 'beautiful' and 'pretty'. He saw one of the fireflies come close to a body near his feet. The man lying there was definitely a Shenhua Clan member with his green robes and discarded spear. The firefly landed on his temple and like the other bodies, he shines brightly then disappears. Wuxian didn't know what his future self was doing. He didn't know why he's seeing this future in particular. And most importantly, he didn't understand why all these cultivators were dead.. His future self kept playing as more flies freed the dead around them. He did not see anyone else around. He did not recognize any of the dead cultivators. No visible threat was evident. Only the scattering lights of disappearing souls and his soothing music.'
Wuxian blinked his eyes and frowned in confusion. Zewu Jun asked gently: "What did you see?"
Wuxian opened his mouth to describe his vision but it was so bizarre and unassuming that he found himself perplexed. He didn't know how to describe it.
Wangji pats his back: "Take your time.."
Wuxian chuckles awkwardly: "I'm not emotional.. I'm confused."
Qiren: "Confused? Was the vision not clear?"
Wuxian: "No. It was clear. It's just so random and out of context, it seems odd."
He went with the direct approach. He listed all the things he saw and the men around him likewise mirrored his confusion. Zewu Jun: "Did you see Shenhua Clan or the rogue faction?"
Wuxian shrugs: "I don't know. They look the same to me."
Wangji: "Did you see how they died?"
Wuxian: "No."
Qiren: "Did you kill them?"
Wuxian was offended: "NO! It actually felt like I was somehow.. trying to console their souls by guiding them to the other side."
Zewu Jun points at Da Ziran: "Can we ask her?"
Wuxian looks down at the snake wrapped tightly around his body. She peeks from under his chin and whispers to his mind: "You are mastering your abilities, young Oracle. Ask yourself, why did you seek this vision?"
Wuxian groans: "For once, give me a direct answer!"
Da Ziran bobs her head in amusement: "Soon you will command your blessings. Have patience. It will all be clear."
