"Kidnapping," he growled.
"We didn't kidnap anyone we just got here," I snapped back.
"If you can't control your pets, we will for you," guard two growled at Xavier. He just snarled back and was shoved back into the car.
"What the hell is going on here?" Sara asked with a dangerous tone.
"Council business," he snaps. "Back off before we take you in too."
"Really Jess? You've been here how long and you're already arrested?!" I'm not sure if I've ever seen her this annoyed and amused at the same time before.
"Do we get to know who we supposedly kidnapped at least?" Xavier asks.
"The Crescent Falls Luna," guard two admits. "There's footage of your car dropping her off by the pack house."
"Willow? We didn't kidnap her, we brought her back for pete's sake!" I snapped.
"For fucks sake Jess of all the packs to upset you had to aim high. Listen guardsman, I highly suggest you get those cuffs off her before-"
"I don't know what kind of loose pack Alpha Chris runs over there but here we run it properly and you will abide by it!" The lead guard cut her off. To my shock Sara burst out laughing, like crazy person level.
"You're making a mistake," I say as the guard kicks out my leg making me kneel, painfully twisting my arm. Sara growls and takes a step forward but I stop her with a head shake.
"Well dumbass, you're about to find out, he's on his way," she snaps. "That's his mate you're manhandling." A devilish grin spreads across her face as the ramifications of the situation dawn on them.
Too little too late, Chris bursts on the scene and roars in rage when he sees us. Jace and Jude are right behind him as Chris rips the guard away from me. The remaining guards step back as more guards join.
"Start talking," he grows as he hovers over the guard who held me. His fist was tightly wrapped in the guards uniform as he pulled him off the ground, while his other fist was pulled back for the kill.
"Chris," I cut in, killing a guard on the first day wasn't the best way to start things.
"Personally I recommend uncuffing her to let her calm him down, but you guys run it how you see fit." She was enjoying making the guard eat his words. He however was a quick study and immediately uncuffed me.
"Chris," I called again as I laid a hand on his arm holding he guard, who looked to be scared to death. "He didn't know who I was, please let him go," I said softly. After a minute he flung him back to the ground before turning to me and wrapping me up. His head instantly dropped to my neck as he scented me, calming down.
"What is going on here?" A familiar woman shouted. The Councilor from before stood with a squadron as Guardians started to appear. Her keen blue eyes scanned the scene in front of her. "Captain?"
"We were arresting him for the kidnapping of Crescent Falls Luna when she interfered. She did not properly identify herself-"
"Was I supposed to do that before or after you threw me to the ground." Growls broke out at that.
"You sure do have a way with our guards," the Councilor said, eyes narrowing.
"Your guards have communication issues," I retort.
"Jess," Chris warns, apparently I'm on dangerous grounds.
I look to the side as an imposing man walks up through a parted crowd. He is built like Chris and equally tall, his energy screams alpha and pissed.
