The past 2 months passed by in a blur with random assignments and subtle flirting with Steve. I just about screamed in joy when I realized that Christmas breaks were making their rounds, starting on the 23rd of December and going till the 9th of January. Of course, the first half of the break passed by with a relatively easy schedule, in the mornings I would spend quality time with my mother and brother and from afternoon to night I would be laying in bed with Steve, asking him random questions and laughing at his antics.

I couldn't deny it though, we had been dating for almost 3 months now and Steve hadn't even yet did so much as to kiss me on the lips. His soft lips had only ever grazed my cheek and forehead and it was starting to get to me. Lucky for me, time seemed to pass by quickly and before I knew it, school was back on again, only 2 weeks left until second semester.

I sat there, lost in my own thoughts, probably staring into space as I recalled fond memories of Steve lying in my bed and making me laugh. "Megan." I hummed, not paying attention to who was calling me, "Megan." I hummed a little louder, "That's exactly what your moans sound like." I turned my head to the voice staring at my former fuck buddy staring at me with his black, soulless eyes.

"Can I help you, Maz?" I know, weird name for a kid. He looked at me, a smirk making its way to his lips, "I know you want me, c'mon baby. One more time." I rolled my eyes, looking at the empty seat of our Writer's Craft teacher. "For Fuck's sake, how many times do I gotta say it. Listen, you weren't even that good!" I could hear my voice rising as my frustration vented out, my anger at Maz for constantly flirting and at Steve for not touching me at all.

"You couldn't help me orgasm and you cummed in like less than 2 minutes, so why would I want you?" I asked, my glare directed in his way. He gulped and I heard a few snickers come from the class, his face got red as he stared angrily at me, "You whore!" he spat, "You think you're all that. Truth is you're just a little slut, opening your legs for men here and there. Just like your mother did, that's why your father left her." "Don't bring up my mother or that bastard." I yelled, feeling painful tears prick my eyes.

His hand grabbed my arm, painfully squeezing until I knew a bruise would be formed, "Let. Me. Go." I said calmly through gritted teeth. He smiled a nasty smile, leaning in towards me, "Fat Bitch." and those two words were solely enough to trigger me, to trigger my previous memories of being assaulted because of my former weight.

I grabbed his hand painfully and flipped it around so that it made painful contact with his back. I screamed as my vision blurred from the oncoming tears and I yanked the back of his hair, smashing his head into the desk. He fell limp to the ground as I harshly wiped at my eyes.

A girl screamed and made her way to Maz, lying on the floor, hovering over him, she cradled his body in her embrace. "You killed him!" She yelled, I rolled my eyes at her, "Relax. He's just unconscious. Should come back around in 5-10 minutes." I said, knowing that I was right.

She looked down at him, tears staining her face, "You whore." She yelled and I retorted, "And who are you exactly since he never mentioned you." Her gaze was penetrating as she replied, "I'm his girlfriend." I pushed a breath out, "Please, you two aren't even exclusive and he would much rather prefer me to your orange face." She gasped as I smirked, I turned to Ava, noticing that she wasn't pale like the rest of the class since she knew me well and knew Maz would come around.

"Tell Shure I signed out." She nodded as she winked at me, but I could see the concern evident on her face. I made my way outside of the school reaching the sidewalk and breaking into a run for my home. My tears flew down my cheeks as I cried and cried, feeling the wind whip between my hair. Why would he say that? That hurt me, a lot.
