Bonus Chapter - Hallo-tricker-ween

(Halloween is approaching so I thought why not?)

Megan knew it would be a long week, why? Maybe because of the way Tony was constantly giggling around her or when he smirked as she poured herself her fifth cup of coffee. Maybe it was all the decorations that were plastered around the Avenger's base, with Megan having a damn heart attack walking around every corner to see cheap, bloody props hung up. Maybe it was simply because of the constant posters Tony had hung up saying cheesy things like, "Get your treat on!" or "Hallo-tricker-ween." Whatever it was Megan knew that sleep would be a scarce option leading up to the days when the dreaded night finally arrived.

Why did Megan hate Halloween? Between the slutty costumes and the even sluttier people, she couldn't find a time to breath as everyone bombarded her with questions about her own costume, or Tony's party or if Steve and her were going together. Her and Steve still weren't dating but her team was giving the both of them an awfully hard time about it, teasing them when they trained together or were in a room alone, it was enough to put Megan in a foul mood.

So when Tony announced that he has a Halloween surprise for the team, naturally Megan had a hissy fit that would impress all the toddlers in the world. "But I don't want to go." She whined as Steve chuckled, browsing through her bookshelf. "It's Tony's idea, not mine. Kill his ears by screaming." Megan shot a death glare towards Steve, "Steeeevieeee, you know when Tony has ideas like this, they're bad. Like bad enough to make you want to kill yourself bad." Steve chuckled, it was Megan's dramatic antics that had him falling for her in the first place, "What can I say Meg?"

She frowned and came up behind him, hugging him tightly and burying her face in his back, "You're the Captain, call it off." Steve smiled and turned around to hug Megan back tightly, "You know Tony doesn't listen to me sweetheart. Besides, the rest of the team seems pretty excited." "Bullshit." Megan whispered and Steve laughed, "Language, doll." "English, Stevie." "It's actually German." "Strike one, Rogers." Steve laughed, burying his head in Megan's multicoloured hair, smelling her vanilla scent drift through his body.

So, Megan came, she came to the stupid meeting, but not without letting everyone know to give her no bullshit. She smeared eyeliner under her eyes, perfected her death glare and kicked up her feet on the coffee table, showing off her extremely spiky combat boots. "Woah, hoah, someone's grumpy." Nat laughed as she took a seat beside her best friend, Megan turned to glare at her and Nat smiled, "C'mon you can scare the guys' balls right back into their body, but you know that glare doesn't work on me." Megan pouted, "Tony's an ass." "What else is new, hun."

"Speak of the devil." Nat muttered as Tony walked right in, a cheery smile on his face. He looked ridiculous, wearing a sparkly red top-hat with a black cape and a three-piece suit. "What are you wearing?" Bruce asked as he walked in with wide eyes, he took up a seat beside Nat. Ever since Clint had gone MIA with Fury, probably busy in work, Nat and Bruce had been getting closer together.

"It's called show business, my good man." Tony spoke in a ridiculously fake english accent, he knew he'd have to sell this idea to the team, but if they agreed it would be hilarious. He looked towards Megan as she glared at him, his eyes sparkled mischievously, he couldn't wait to see Megan's face after he announced his surprise. Over the past few months, the teams had become inseparable, probably due to Megan's unconscious powers but still. Secrets were spilled, laughs were shared and cries were heard, the team had morphed into a family and each member was close to all other members.

Thor walked in last with Steve as they laughed about something, "Well, you are noble, Steven." Thor boasted in his loud voice and Steve laughed, clapping him on his back, "Yes, I am." "Capsicle, lightning man." Tony acknowledged the two men as they took their seats, Steve on Megan's other side and Thor sitting next to Steve. Rhodey quickly ran in, sitting next to Thor as he smoothed down his shirt.
