Embarrassed

P: “So isn’t it, little miss Taji and Mr strong Ray. With their little assistant Jacki Greyholme.

Jacki, I know your mother and she wouldn’t be pleased with what I see now. A little run away girl. Bad Jacki and now Taji. You loved me but your left me broken hearted. I was their, waiting in the tent for you, the lock was ready and the bed was ready. But you left me with that stupid Ray.

Ray! She is mine, now and forever. You aren’t so strong and brave as you think are. But I will let you live if you let Taji go.”

“Meki? How did you find us?” I step forward and he walks out of the shadows, towards me.

“I am a tracker and hunter, where I was from. I had a wife and two kids but I would have given it up for you.”

Meki reaches out to touch me, but I step back, avoiding his gaze.

“I love you.”

He grabs me and kisses me, pushing me to his chest and suffocating me. I struggle but he pulls me harder, he bites my lip, drawing blood. He strokes the back of my head.

I finally manage to push him away and wipe my mouth.

He goes to grab my waist and draw me back in.

“Don’t.”

“Just don’t touch me again and I was never coming to your so called bedroom haven where you waited in the bed. I don’t love you. I never will.”

He falls to his knees and screams, “You said you loved me and I fell for you. You are mine. Taji, you do, deep in your locked up heart. You do.”

“I said I don’t, not anymore,” I step back and grab onto Ray, bringing his mouth to mine, I kiss him, “I love Ray.”

He screams again.

“No! You love me.”

I whisper to Ray, “I will leave with him towards north and you follow behind us. I will pretend that I am in love with him.

He nods.

“Meki, I am sorry. I do not know what I was thinking. I love you, obviously. Never have I loved this Ray. It was an act for your jealousy.”

He smiles, “Well it worked baby.”

“Lets leave these people.”

“Anyday.”

I walk to him and he grabs my waist, holding me tight. He leans down and nibbles at my ear. I push him away and tell him, not here.

He grins foolishly and takes it the wrong way.

We walk onwards, towards the tribe. Suddenly he pushes me against and tree and kisses me. Growling as he trails kisses on my neck. He grabs my butt and squeezes it, I smack his hand.

“Don’t..” But I don’t finish as he kisses me. I am forced to kiss him back.

He pushes me to the floor and is lying overtop of me. He starts to unbutton my shirt and pulls down my pants.

I scream as he kisses me, telling me nothing will hurt.

I knee him and he falls to the side. I button up my shirts and grab my belt that now lay on the dirt beside me. I stand and whip him.

He screams and I speak.

“Don’t touch me, I would never love you.”

He smiles and stands up, rips the belt from my hands. Grabs at some rope in his weapon belt and ties me down.

I am left helpless.

 

E: I feel the coldness seep into my skin. Meki starts to take his shirt off. Silent tears flow down my face.

“Aww, poor little, innocent Taji.” He whispers.

“GET AWAY FROM HER!” Yells Ray. Ray? He obviously was following close behind. I feel a wave of relief wash over me. Ray grabs Meki and throws him on the ground. Ray grabs the knife from Meki’s pocket and holds it above Meki’s face.

“Leave now, go far far away, or I swear to god, I will kill you.” Yells Ray.

“OK! I will go far away, please don’t hurt me.” Whimpers Meki. Meki scrambles to his feet and runs off into the jungle.

“Taji, are..a..are you ok?” Asks Ray. Jacki stands there, wide eyed.

“No, lets just forget that ever happened. Can I uhh...have my clothes?” Taji swears that this is the most embarrassed she’s ever been in her life. Ray looks down her body and smiles.

“Ray!!” I yell.

“Sorry, I will get your clothes.”

I get changed at quick as possible and sit down by a tree.

“Ray, I’m so embarrassed.” I say.

“It’s okay, you don’t have to be.” He answers. I stare into his warm blue eyes and he stares into mine. He slowly leans closer to my face and touches my lips with his. I slide my hands down his neck. He puts his hand on my waist. He pulls back and pulls me into his warm chest. I let my tears soak into his t-shirt and he holds me tighter than he ever has before.
