"Jack..." I called him when we are alone inside the living room.
Nasa labas kasi ng bahay sila Kuya Renz, Mommy, Daddy samantalang sila Ate Jeaane naman ay inaasikaso ang nasa kusina. Some of our relatives were invited but I'm not too close to them. Hindi naman kasi ako iyong tipo ng kamag-anak na palaging sumasama sa outing ng pamilya nila Mommy at Daddy.

"What if I broke up with you?" biglang tanong ko sa kaniya.
Honestly, I didn't know why it came up to my mind and asked him. Siguro ay dahil natatakot akong hiwalayan siya sa oras na mas lumala pa ang sakit ko.
"Don't say that, I won't let that happen. Bakit?" tanong niya sa akin pabalik. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I j-just wanted to ask you." wika ko at nag-iwas ng tingin.
In front of us is Kristine who's playing blocks and her dolls. Wala siyang pake sa paligid hanggang sa mapansin niya akong nakatingin aa kaniya. I smiled at her, she did the same and played again with her dolls.
"But, honestly... If time happened that you wanted to broke up with me, I'll let you go." wika niya kaya naman ay napatingin ako sa kaniya. "Because I have nothing to do with it if you fell out love from me. I cheated on you once and I think the best thing for me to do is to let you go once you wanted to broke up with me." dagdag niya kaya hindi ko maiwasang hawakan ang kamay niyang nakapatong sa kaniyang hita.
"You know that I won't broke up with you without enough reason, right?" I asked him again.
"Yes, baby. Whether you tell me the reason or not, I will let you go. But I won't promise that I'll forget about you... About us eventually after we break up." he explained that made me nod and smiled at him. "Teka nga, bakit ba ito ang pinag-uusapan nating dalawa? We should be happy because of your achievements, didn't we?" sambit niya at umiling sa akin.
"I'm sorry... Gusto ko lang naman malaman, eh." I said but the questions on my mind is haunting me kaya naman ay hindi ko mapigilang tanungin siya muli. "But why won't you fight for us that you will let me go that immediatley?"
