Ever since they arrived at the pokécenter, May isn't with Dawn and Serena, she is by herself, laying on her bed, thoughtful.

"May? What happened?" asked Dawn, worried.

"Nothing! I'm just tired! I think I'm going to sleep now!" said May.

"Come on May! That's not you..." said Dawn.

"Dawn... Come here..." said Serena.

Dawn looks to Serena.

Serena leaves the room.

Dawn follows.

"Leave her alone for now... She needs that now..." said Serena.

"But she is not happy... I want to help..." said Dawn.

"You won't help her if she doesn't want to be helped..." said Serena.

"I... I..." Dawn was stunned.

"You're right..." said Dawn.

Serena smiles and pat Dawn on her back.

"I know that you want to help her... I want too... But she needs a little bit of space for herself now..." said Serena.

"How do you know that?" asked Dawn.

"Trust me... I know how she is feeling..." said Serena.

"You do?" asked Dawn.

"Was it because of Ash?" asked Dawn.

"Actually... No..." said Serena.

"It was once that my pokémon were fighting and I decided that I needed to take a break for myself... I got to understand that sometimes being alone is the only thing you need..." said Serena.

"But isn't your pokémon your Sun?" asked Dawn.

"Yes! But sometimes we need to take a break from everything... Even the most important things in our lifes..." said Serena.

"Why?" asked Dawn.

"Because we are going to grow stronger by doing that..." said Serena.

"How?" asked Dawn.

"Simple! Whenever you're without the ones you love and without the ones that are always with you... You start to see what you can improve on yourself... It's important for us to keep everything balanced on our lifes..." said Serena.

"And what about Ash?" asked Dawn.

Serena blushes.

"Well... You see... He is my Moon... So when I'm on my worst... I always look up to him, to think on what I can improve on myself... To inspire myself to get out of the dark night..." said Serena, blushing.

"Oh... I get it..." said Dawn.

"Thanks... Let's enter the room again..." said Serena.

Serena and Dawn enter the room.

They eventually start to sleep.

May notices this and gets up.

May walks up to the balcony and stares at the moon.

"Why do I care that much for him?" thought May.

"Why?" thought May, letting a tear run down her face.

"Why..." mumbled May.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" asked Serena, looking to the moon.

May blushes and cleans her face.
