Helping Professor!

"Why did you ask Tracey to call me here?" asked Misty while both Misty and Serena enter the lab.

"Misty, I have a request for you..." answered Professor Oak.

"What do you want?" asked Misty.

"I have just received a call from Nimbasa city's pokécenter..." answered Professor Oak.

"So...?" asked Misty.

"Nurse Joy asked for my help... This pokémon was released by its trainer after she saw a fashion show... She said it was too ugly for it to help her on reaching her dream..." said Professor Oak with pity in his eyes.

"What a terrible thing..." said Misty.

"Didn't other trainers try to have it?" asked Misty.

"Yes, but since it only knows one move, it was deemed too weak for battles too..." answered Professor Oak.

"Poor thing..." said a saddened Misty.

"What kind of pokémon is it?" asked Misty.

"It's a Feebas..." answered Professor Oak.

"Since you are so used to water types... I thought you would be able to help us..." said Professor Oak.

"Yes! I would be able to!" answered Misty, smiling.

"Okay! Here it is! Its pokéball!" said Professor Oak with a smile in his face.

"Thank you!" said Misty .

Misty remembers something.

"Oh...." said Misty.

"What's the matter?" asked Professor Oak, worried.

"I forgot that I'm taking care of some of my sister's pokémon right now... I can't have another pokémon with me..." said Misty with a sad expression.

"Oh..." said Professor while taking the pokéball off Misty's hand.

"I can help! I've only got Pancham, Sylveon and Braixen with me, so I've got plenty of space for another one! It can also help me with my performances!" said a very happy Serena.

"Do you even know how a Feebas look like?" asked Misty.

"Not a single clue!" exclaimed Serena.

Both Misty and Professor Oak look quite unimpressed.

"At least you've got the spirit." said Tracey while smiling nervously.

"What's the matter? I've never trained a water type pokémon, but it can't be that difficult..." said Serena in a quite angered manner.

"Feebas, come out!" said Professor Oak, throwing Febbas' pokéball to the air.

"..." Feebas did not say a thing when it came out.

Serena did a double take when she saw Feebas.

"Poor thing... It looks so sad..." Serena thought.

"I still want to help it! Feebas, would you come with me?" asked Serena while reaching out to Feebas.

Feebas flang its tail into Serena's hand agressively.

"Ouch! That hurts!" Serena shouted.

"You don't have to do this, Serena." said Professor with a pity look.

"I don't have to, but I want to" exclaimed Serena.

"Feebas, come with me... I know that you've had some pretty bad trainers in the past... But I promise I'm going to do my best... I could learn so much with you..." said Serena.

Feebas went behind its pokéball, with fear.

Serena grabs its pokéball.

"Are you coming with me?" Serena said while pointing the pokéball to Feebas.

Feebas looked to Serena with fear.

"Come on Feebas, I know this is too much pressure on you... But I want you to help me become a better person and better performer... I want to do that with you and all my other pokémon..." thought Serena.

Feebas looked with fear to Serena, but it felt what Serena was thinking.

Feebas went closer to Serena.

Feebas used Splash to jump into its pokéball.

Feebas went inside its pokéball.

"Thank you, Feebas..." thought Serena while smilling.

"Thanks, Serena!" said Professor Oak.

"If you find it too difficult to deal with, you can always count on us!" said Professor Oak.

"You can also count on me!" said Misty.

"She has such a beatiful and pure heart, her actions follow that same line... It's not difficult to see why Ash was acting different after Kalos... After spending that much time with a person like her, it's difficult to not like her..." thought Misty,

"Thanks everyone!" said Serena.

Everyone on the room smile.

"I'm going to show my new friend to my pokémon!" said Serena while going through the lab's door.

"With that out of the way, I'm going home... I've got a gym to deal with at the end of the day!" said Misty while heading to the lab's door.

"Hey Serena!" said Misty already outside the lab.

Serena looks to Misty.

"Don't forget your promise, okay?" asked Misty.

"You can count on me!" said Serena with determination.

Both girls smile.

Misty goes her way.

Serena heads to the field, where Pancham, Sylveon and Braixen are.
