Nobody's POV:

"Izuku Midoriya and Shoto Todoroki... will you make your way to the stage! It's time to commence the quarter finals!" Midnights voice erupted through the loudspeakers.

The green haired boy was steeling his nerves inside waiting room number 2. He was currently thinking about strategies to combat Todoroki. 'He's definitely going to start off with his ice... I could use King Crimson's time erasure, but if he keeps shooting ice at me, I'm going to reach my limit. I could erase time and end it quickly... but he'll probably anticipate me doing that, and he'll keep a wall of ice around him at all times so I can't hit him directly. King Crimson does have the power to easily go through his ice, but it will slow me down, and his reaction time is good. Not to mention he'll most likely use his flames after I strike his ice to counterattack. Perhaps I shouldn't get close at all... maybe I should try ending it in one hit from afar. My Crimson Smash allows me to use all my power in one blow, but I'll probably be tapped out after that... so I'm not sure. Oh well, I'm up... it's time to do this! Go get 'em Izuku!'

Itsuka had walked towards the waiting rooms, leaving her two friends behind. She had wanted to spend some time by herself, forgetting about everything that was going on. She needed to focus on the task at hand... because she promised All Might she would do her best. It would seem though, life just wouldn't allow her to focus, as she walked into a certain room labeled 'waiting room number 2.'

What resulted could be expressed as... rather awkward as the two just stared at each other for a few moments, confused as to why the other was there. The boy looked like he was about to leave, and Kendo had heard Midnight's announcement while walking towards the room. Izuku trudged towards the doorway, not daring to utter a single word to Itsuka, who had moved to give him space. The girl, who's heart was already racing at seeing the boy, simply just gazed at him as a terrible feeling washed over her. All she longed for was that she could go back in time, and admit her feelings for the boy as well. She wanted to fix everything... but now she wasnt sure if that was possible anymore. He had already moved on, and was undoubtedly attracted to Uraraka, who comforted him through the misunderstanding. It was indeed too late to do anything, and Kendo completely disregarded Momo's words.

Izuku could see the emptiness in Kendo's eyes as she looked at him... but she was the one who rejected him, not the way around. He wanted to talk with her as well, but he knew if he did, he would only distract himself from his fight with Todoroki. At this point, it felt like the two were nothing more than mere acquaintances, but his strong feelings for her were still present. Izuku knew something like this would happen. He knew their friendship would be destroyed if he confessed. He knew the consequences... but he did it anyways. He just couldn't bring himself to speak with the girl again... he wasn't even sure if they would ever be the same again. Izuku made his way towards the door, and the girl who was leaning against the wall broke the ice.

"G-Good luck Iz- M-Midoriya." Kendo mustered. That was all she could bring herself to say. The boy seemed unfazed by her words, as he kept walking.

"Thanks Kendo."

Well... so much for distracting herself from him.

Kendo made her way back to the stands, her will to fight completely gone, so she decided that her next course of action was to forfeit the next match. Kendo had her shoulders slouched, and she gazed down when a hand grabbed onto her shoulder. It gently squeezed as Kendo looked into the raven haired girl's eyes.

"It'll be alright Kendo. Enjoy yourself while you're here... All will be well in the end."

Itsuka smiled at her caring friend, and Jotaro had some words of his own.
