Ch 26: Post Hero Killer

What's up everybody, I'm back with another chapter to this crazy story. This one is obviously going to be laid back after the last action filled one, and it's gonna focus on Izuku and Kendo's relationship, along with the ending of the internships. I hope you guys enjoy.

Nobody's POV:

The Hero Killer, no matter how tenacious he was, fell. When he stood over that Nomu, no one could face him, no matter how weak he was. The grim aura that surrounded everyone at that moment was so suffocating, even more than Izuku's distorted air. Everyone at that moment was shook down to their very core, trembling at the cold grip of fear consuming each and everyone of them.

"ALL MIGHT IS WORTHY!"

Those four words confirmed everything, the Hero Killer Stain's actions were born from the combination of his love for All For One, along with him idolizing All Might. A mixture of good and bad were mixed into one single ideal. A righteous thought, carried out in a sinister way. That was the Hero Killer Stain, and that was the reason why he had to be stopped. Although, no one could stop him. No one besides All Might stood the chance of defeating the Hero Killer... except himself.

And that was how it played out. After receiving so many hits, a rib punctured his lung, stopping him cold in his tracks as he coughed up blood. Therefore, he tasted his own blood, paralyzing him until police arrived.

That was how the all mighty Stain was defeated. The only one who could beat Stain... was himself.

That's just how terrifying The Hero Killer was.

Everyone was in the hospital, recovering from any injuries they sustained from the Hero Killer incident. Native was in critical condition, having lost a lot of blood, but he's in the hospital being treated, so that was good. The battle with Stain was only about ten minutes long, even though it felt like hours.

Izuku woke up from a nap he was taking, yawning slightly while he groggily sat up and looked around the room. Iida was staring at a wall, Todoroki was staring at the ceiling, and Itsuka was staring at him.

"Uh... why's it so dead in here?"

"Iida just got his test results back..." Todoroki replied, shifting his gaze to Iida who wouldn't look away from the wall.

Izuku grew slightly anxious of what he was about to hear, as he sat next to Itsuka on her bed, the latter leaning on his shoulder as he put his arm around her. Oh how he missed her.

"The doctor said I might have... permanent damage in my left arm. Those daggers he threw at it, they ripped through my skin and muscle towards my bone, destroying some of my nerves in the way. It'll hopefully heal with surgery, but the doctor says it might not function the way it did before, it might become numb at times and so forth. I deserve this though, everything that happened was my fault." Iida pushed his glasses up, sniffling while he turned to the other three with teary eyes. "I am so sorry for putting you all in danger for some selfish desire. I am no hero... I can't even be a good friend."

"Iida..." Itsuka muttered while Izuku stood up.

"You know Iida..." Izuku began while he walked over to the boy. "True heroes don't doubt themselves. They learn from their mistakes, and grow stronger from them." He put his hand on Iida's shoulder. "Let's get stronger together, and be the best heroes we can be!"
