Hey everyone, I'm back with another chapter for this story, and sorry for getting this out late. I've been working on another story so I'm kinda juggling both at the same time so I'm probably gonna alternate between them every other day or two. But anyways I hope you guys enjoy this Todoroki centered chapter!

Nobody's POV:

Internships were coming to a close, each student from class 1a and b concluding their week long hero experiences. Even though no one besides the four caught up in the Stain incident were caught up in actual life threatening situations, they still had a tough week.

Jotaro and Bakugou's internships at Best Jeanist's agency were nothing short of... unproductive. The number four hero tried his best to straighten the two boys out, whether it'd be through tough training, or hour long lectures. Absolutely nothing worked. Jotaro would just breeze through any training and occasionally dose off when Best Jeanist was lecturing them. Bakugou on the other hand was too proud to change, pride really is something that can't be broken through easily. All in all, that week was pretty useless.

Momo's internship at Edgeshot was pretty productive... and enlightening. He taught her how to make decisions at a moment's notice to quicken her reaction time, as well as showing her how to fight with anything besides a bo staff.

Everyone else's internships went pretty smoothly, some getting in on some action like Asui and Jirou, while others learned more about their quirks and how to utilize them. Some learned martial arts, some did community work, and one other cleaned and vacuumed Mount Lady's agency (rip Mineta).

And finally, Iida Itsuka, Izuku, and Todoroki had perhaps the most grueling week out of all, both physically and emotionally. Iida had already said his goodbyes to Manual, once again apologizing deeply for his brash actions that put them all in danger.

Itsuka departed from Gran Torino's house, having one last moment with the old master before heading to the station. She truly was grateful for his teachings, which allowed her to advance much more in her training with One For All. While everyone had a pretty peaceful departure from their internships, there was still one last thing that had to be done.

"Ya know..."

Izuku was sitting on a bench overlooking the immense size of the training grounds. It wasn't like a gym or anything, it was more like a field filled with small hills and trees. It was almost as if it was a chunk of land taken right out of nature.

"I've never really seen either of you go all out before, well actually scratch that. I've seen Todoroki when he used his fire against me in the Sports Festival. But I wonder how Endeavor looks and fights when he's actually serious. Well he's always serious..."

While Izuku was commenting to himself, the father and son duo stared at each other, waiting for the other to make a move first.

"So what... are you going to go all out on me? You gonna break me even more?" Todoroki muttered as cold as his ice, his demeanor changing rapidly to how he was before his and Izuku's battle. Our protagonist was able to break Todoroki's shell that his father had encased him in, but there were still remnants of it. That much was clear.

Izuku could tell Endeavor was trying his best to change, trying his very hardest to overcome the past that he so desperately wanted to forget. "I'll do neither of those things... Shoto."

"Well if you don't want a matching scar, you'd better give it all you got. I've been itching to fight you ever since you broke mom, the only person who ever truly cared about me."
